Age: (when she was created) 13 (but is now) 14
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 11
Appearance:
Raeoki is a pale girl with faint freckles on the bridge of her nose and an inch below the eyes. Her eyes are a gray-ish blue. She's skinny and tall, but at the sametime she appears very frail. This makes her look like a weakling, but years of herding goats (her favorite animal) has made her strong. The smallest part of her is her hands, so small that her peers often laugh with surprise. Another surprise is her hands roughness.Personality:
Her long hair is blonde and straight, and is rarely up in a bun, pony-tail, braid, et cetera. Raeoki usually wears two sets of clothes, as she has sold all of her other outfits. Sometimes she will wear a black dress with red roses with curly stems. Other times she wears a black, short-sleeved shirt (she likes black) and tattered blue jeans. If it is cold enough, Raeoki will wear a heavily tattered and slightly stained gray sweater. Beneath the skirt of her dress or the right leg of her jeans, she conceals a small hatchet that she got from a murderous thief.
Raeoki is stubborn, and often puts down good advice even when she's in a good mood. She's very gentle to little children and animals, escpecially goats and cats. Raeoki has a very bad case of ADD, but thinks this to be more of an advantage then a disability. She has a very low self-esteem, and knows if she was selected in the reaping then she will most certainly die. Raeoki is a very good liar.History:
Raeoki is sensitive. If she sees a dead animal, she'll find herself misty-eyed. When she watches the Hunger Games, Raeoki will most certainly cry whenever there is a death, escpecially for twelve-year-olds. She also finds herself silently grieving when the ruins of District 13 are viewed on her television. Raeoki is rebellious, at least to the Capitol, whom she despises. What she despises even more are the Hunger Games.
Even though she doesn't admit it, Raeoki is brave. She has proven that when she battled and killed the thief that killed her father and mother. Raeoki likes to read, and her favorite animal are cats. Cotwright does not talk much to her peers, and is (surprisingly) more friendly to older folks and young children. Raeoki tries to be very respectful when talking to an adult, but knows when to stop the respect. But to senior citizens, she is always smiling and being kosher.
Raeoki also suffers from vertigo, thus she only climbs the low branches of the trees. She also sometimes suffers from black fogs (depression).
Raeoki Cotwright was born to a pair of black market merchants. Raeoki's father was named Cloven Cotwright and her mother was christened as Poppy Cotwright. Their only child was Raeoki. They were alright parents. They were kind, taught right from wrong and made sure she chose right more then wrong, and they did average parental-like things. But of course, they weren't super-parents. Poppy was too strict, and Cloven was too soft.Codeword: Muttations
Raeoki's life was relatively normal. For her birthday she got a goat, which turned out to be a pregnant female. How her parents got her a goat she never understood. Raeoki Cotwright was born with ADD, but her fear of hights became so when she was nine, and she had climbed up the highest branch of an apple tree, but slipped and fell. Raeoki was forced to watch the ground quickly rise upward, waiting to do her harm. Raeoki formed vertigo and walked out of the orchards with a broken wrist.
Raeoki's world has recently went upside-down a month ago when a thief broke into her house. Raeoki and her parents were asleep when a thief broke into their home. He accidentally broke over a very cheap vase. The shattering noise exploded all over the house, and Mr. and Mrs. Cotwright went down to see what had happened to it, soon after they ordered Raeoki to stay in her bedroom. She heard noises of a scuffle, and then her mother let out a scream of terror. Raeoki quickly sprang into action, grabbing a tiny clay pot with a smiling blue kitten on it, and tip-toed to the sound of the scream. There Raeoki saw the bloodied forms of her parents. Her father had died by the hatchet splitting his skull, and his wife had died with the hatchet in her heart.
The murderer had ripped out the hatchet out Poppy's chest when Raeoki stepped into the room. Raeoki sucked in a breath, and of course the thief noticed it. But before he could do anything, Raeoki threw the clay pot right at his face. It shattered, scarring his face and permanently damaging his left eye. The thief dropped the hatchet to cover his face, and Raeoki quickly darted over to pick it up.
Raeoki grasped the hatchet and it went deep into his back, cleaving his spine in half. The thief let out a moan, inidcating he was still alive. With that, Raeoki sent the hatchet into his neck. She buried her parents and the homicidal maniac bandit in the small yard at the back of her home (where she keeps the goats), making sure the thief's body was far away from her parent's. She kept the hatchet, for protection.
A day after her mother and father was murdered, Raeoki grabbed her two goats and moved to her grandparent's. There she lives now, still recovering from her parent's death.
