Before you read this post, I'd like to direct you to a section of the 57th Hunger Games Rules:[/blockquote]V. Combat
subsection D. The Bloodbath and Feasts
-In order to be considered an active part of the Games, ALL tributes must make an introduction post at the Bloodbath within the designated time period.
-All tributes wishing to receive items from the Cornucopia must participate in the Bloodbath.
-One list will be randomly generated for each tribute and posted before the Games.
-The number of items tributes receive is dependent on how much fighting they participate in, as per the below chart (for this particular Hunger Games):
Included in this thread is that randomly-generated list of items. Tributes are placed in District order for your convenience, but the lists were assigned at random and are not based off of anything.
Items included in “The Wealth” will be specified in the opening post for the Bloodbath; please go there to find out what that entails.
This is the fifth Games we’ve used this for, but some people may still be confused, and some other people are new, so here's an example written by Wolf Tears last year. If you have a handle on the system, feel free to skip this. For some unknown reason, I find that I’m in the Cornucopia. Unsure what else to do but knowing that this shouldn’t be a ridiculously long post like usual, I decide to stand there and wait.
Three or more other people post here- most likely intro posts, but if I take too long attack posts will start cropping up, too. Either way, once there are at least three I get to post again. Now that the gong has rung, I leave my plate. Another tribute gets in my way, and I reflexively kick at them.

[unarmed code]
This knocks me backward, toward a bow, which I pick upand pray that the fight system will magically take care of the fact that I have only the most basic of archery skills.
More people post here- intro posts, attack posts, whatever. Once three have gone, I go again.I take my bow and fit an arrow to it, then fire at the nearest tribute. Not that I have any ill will toward them, but I need to for the sake of example.
((Attacks _))
[bow code]
I could now claim my first item, but it’s okay if I wait until a later post, so I decide to do that.
Now I’m free to pick up my first item in whatever post I want to. My other items, however, still require another post, so- after waiting for three posts, of course- I decide to post again.I’m still not keen on killing anyone, but I really do want that next item on my list.
((Attacks _))
[bow code]
Woo! Now I get item #2. This carries on until I’ve gotten everything off my list that I want, at which point I decide to get lost before I die. Assuming I haven’t already died. It’s possible.I scoop up my stuff and get the heck out of here.
Note that I didn’t attack anyone there! You may not attack in an escape post; this holds true for not just the Cornucopia, but also for other fights.
