Appearance:

Sperring isn’t the friendliness person you’ll meet; he prefers to be by himself. Sperring has black wavey hair that goes to his chin line. It is slightly shorter at the back. Sometimes he wears it in a ponytail; bits fall out and frame his face. His eyes are a dark, deep brown. His eyes never reveal his emotions, which are kept well hidden. They are blank and cold. His skin is white with a slight tan to it.Sperrings lips are tugged into a snarky grin, it looks nice, but unpleasant, usually offends people. Sperring is tall, around 6.8 feet in height doesn’t stop him from being graceful. His arms are well muscled from all the hard work he has done in his life. A long scar runs down his left arm from the elbow to his wrist. His farther slashed him with a knife when he was drunk and high on drugs.


Sperring prefers to wear dark clothes and loathes wearing shorts, he believes they are horrible and shoe too much. He likes to wear loose cargo pants or jeans of course they are black. The few items of clothing he owns are dirty and covered in holes. Being in district four has done him no favour as he is not better than any other district person in Panem; he is probably one of the poorest people. Sperring likes to wear singlets that show his muscles, the muscles he is proud of also reveal the white scar. He believes it makes him look intimidating and more threatening. It does help get people to leave him alone. In colder months he wears a black jacket over the top that has a hood. He wears old sneakers, that like everything g else he owns is black. He wears no socks as he owns none.

Personality:

Sperring has a very bad reputation for being a smart-ass and a bit brutal. The way he acts comes from his background. He doesn’t want others to think he is weak and likes to intimidate people. This leads to him having very little self-control and if something small makes him unhappy or angry he gets upset fast. His control problems make him scary to people, but others think he is crazy and may have a screw loose in his head. Sperring has little reason to be happy, but when he is people like to be around him. At first look people are inclined to dislike Sperring, if you have the guts to hand with him longer he becomes friendly and opens up to you. He will not stand for people back stabbing others. He is a quiet person, but will stand up to others for his rights. If people are being bullied he stands by them. If there is a fight often he will get himself involved before he even knows why. Sperring is very secretive about his past and only a few people know anything about him( old lady and the baker).

Sperring has a mental disability. It doesn’t affect anything except the fact that he is illiterate, he also struggles in maths and any other thing that involves work. Sperring is a very good speaker, he uses words to manipulate and hurt people. This makes Sperring a very stubborn person, who likes to have everything his way, Sperring likes to be in charge. This makes Sperring a very quick thinker. He may not be good at academics, but when he’s trapped or stuck he comes up with very effective plans and solutions. This leads to Sperring not being very cautious, he charges into, this shows his curiosity. Sperring usually fines himself in the wrong spot at the wrong time. Sperring is very headstrong, being the person he is he trained, he trained to be a career tribute. Basically he taught himself to throw knives and use spears and other weapons. His personality was one that never gave up. Sperring would never go down without a fight. It was who he is and it made him.

Sperring likes to eat, but rarely gets the opportunity to eat much let alone the amount he would like to eat. Sperring does get enough and has a strong lean body that hasn’t suffered from years of abuse. He can be very unpredictable and doesn’t like to think before he acts, act now think later. Consequences don’t bother him; he gets in trouble and never cares. He has a thong for defending people. People weaker than him, he defends the losing person in a fight, he wanted to protect them. Sperring is very honest, and no matter how much it upsets people he will always tell the truth, this makes him very loyal. This leads to him protecting people. He would protect the people he loves with his life. Sperring is a very nice person; he follows his beliefs, letting nothing get in his way. People don’t distrust him they just dislike him. Sperring doesn’t care his himself, it’s how he was meant to be, so he will be it. No one can change him, if you like him live with the good and bad no one is perfect.

History:

Sperrings life was never easy. At the age of four he was kicked out of his house, barely able to do anything he found a bin and stayed there. After a week and having eaten nothing and drunken nothing, but rain a neighbour came out and took him in. He stayed there for a year until the lady who was now his mother died. She was killed by a sickness that left her in a coma. Sperring then went in search of his family. What he found were alcoholic drug addicts. His dad having no clue who he was attacked him leaving him with the scar on his left arm. Sperring managed to escape, from that day on he changed, he became guarded and someone no one knew. Losing everything that means everything to you can drive someone to a length were they are no longer kind all the happiness was wiped from his life. Sperring had to beg on the street it drove him made the weakness he felt. When he was seven a boy about twelve, passed him, Sperring was sleeping in the bin he had made into his home. Sperring woke to the sound of laughter he looked up to see the boy laughing at him. Sperring being the person he was with little self-control, he cracked, leaping at the boy he threw a punch at his face. The boy staggered, Sperring kicked him forcing the other boy to the ground. That boy never got up.


The peacekeepers had taken him to the community home. Sperring didn’t stay of course he couldn’t the daily beatings were a memory of worst times. He ran away to the house. The place where the only person in Sperrings life someone had cared. Sperring had begun to believe that his life was never meant to be happy nor pleasant, it would always be hard. Life would always be cruel to him. The house was abandoned so he went inside, Sperring now lives there. At the age of ten Sperring decided to go to school he lacked the right education, but without it he would not be able to get a job. Sperring soon learned that he wasn’t like other normal kids who could read’ spell and speak with a fluent rhythm, the other kids called him retarded, he hated it and would lash out irrationally, usually it ended with a fist fight, leaving the other kid hurt and him stuck in detention. Sperring did have a learning problem, one that prevented him from understanding fully all those things like the timetables and simple spelling words. His speaking became very good Sperring soon learned that words could affect people as much as any physical fight. So Sperring ended up with a smart-ass reputation as well as a brute force one.

Kids left him alone no one approached him, talked to him are looked at him. He ceased to exist in the eyes of the school. Primary school continued on like this. Everything changed in high school. The older students (year 10 and 11’s) noticed him they felt the power and anger that radiated off of him as he walked. Soon they began to pick on him, sensing the vulnerability in his personality. The picked on his disability, but mainly focused on the fact that he had no one and nothing. Sperring tried to ignore them, but his little self-control would not allow it. When the inevitable fight came he ended up bashed and bleeding. The boys were tough from years of hard work, they weren’t weak like primary school kids they were tough. The fact that it was three boys against one didn’t help. After this Sperring never went back to school he taught himself and eventually he got a job. He helped one of the bakery owners, the man was old and fragile, so Sperring did all the tough work, picking and hauling flower bags, mending broken things and helping the baker in anyway. Sperring keeps to himself occasionally getting into fights.
