I said I would make this some time.

Welcome! Everyone should know by now I'm just so into video games, like, not even going to lie. I'm a reader, player, and sometimes watcher for entertainment - but most definitely a player. You can count on me to talk about strategy, RPG, some various little others. I suppose it depends on if it's mainstream enough for the others (Resident Evil, for example; used to be one of my brother's favorite series for video games).

Mainly I tend to stick with strategy/puzzle and RPG. I guess you can say I really like to think, and both genres have elements of contemplating scenarios. I take time with the games, though, because I take notes and am a completionist whore. "All the items, best scenarios, all the endings," is the motto. This is why I never seem to actually 'complete' games. Storyline-wise, sure, but never on the collecting aspect. I have to basically tell myself when to stop. lol

Playing them because Luna suggested them. Omg, they're amazing. Like, the greatest games ever. Especially 999. I want to play Golden Sun too.

andrew: you have a prob with older consoles, ehhhh? D:< Come talk to me when the PS3 or XBox 360 offers more games I want. (What? What? Persona 5 not out? TOO BAD, NEW CONSOLES. YOU DON'T HAVE MY MONEY). And what. I have a Wii. Definitely newer console. Besides, when PS3 and Xbox 360 came out, they were expensive as heck. If there's anything I'm aiming for right now, it's maximizing my current console library with all the games I could want.

Not really angry; but, as of right now, there are... very little games I would want to buy on PS3/XBox 360. Not to say that Wii had a lot games I wanted to purchase (Carnival Games? Totally want that. >.> ), but Wii was the cheaper console on its debut release. Even my friend (who has a PS3) had to admit that the PS3 was really pricey when it came out (also its games, to boot).

Just to show that I did have some interest in the PS3/XBox 360, here is the minor list I have (coming from the top of my head) that I would want:

At this rate and time, I'm not missing much out. Can't exactly buy one console just for this much. Heck, my current Wii library is probably this big, but I'm fixing that as the main goal of game collections.




@kay: I used to play a bit of PC games (Sims, MMOs) but my limitations on them were due to lagging frame rate and the cost of them in my computer's space. I think I would need some tricked-out computer of mass destruction to be able to handle PC games on a grander scale. xD My bro was more into them than I was. (Fable, F.E.A.R., Guild Wars , and a couple more).

Harvest Moon! I like that series. Friends of Mineral Town, More Friends of Mineral Town, Save the Homeland, DS Cute, Sunshine Island and Friends, Magical Melody, and A Wonderful Life are what I have. I also have the spin-off game, Rune Factory, which I need to finish and collect the rest of that one. >.> 2, 3, Frontier. I have so many to get.




@damen: xD Greatest game ever. lol Hopefully there would be a sequel to 999, though I hear that the guy who made it would not make it a direct sequel. :( Visual novels aren't that popular in the western gaming populace. (Heck, this was technically my first visual novel game).



So jacked up on games. Even borrowing two from a friend while he's borrowing one of mine. These are the two I'm borrowing:

-- Steambot Chronicles [PS2] - sandbox RPG (He let me borrow this a long time ago and I never got around to finish it; I think I just need to breeze through the storyline at this point lol)
-- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door [GC] - RPG/adventure (omg people, I used to love the first Paper Mario on the N64, no lies. I'm borrowing it starting today, and I forgot how funny the first two were. At this one part in the early in the game, my friend and I were like, "OH GOSH," because this 50+ army of baddies wanted to beat up Mario. LOL)
