Helping corner?

There's a section that helps with people and RPing, so what about a section about helping people with writing in general? Pointers on how to improve, tips on things to think about when writing. I was thinking a subsection in the writing section dedicated to people handing out tips. Not necessarily staff members, but experienced or talented people helping less experienced people with their ability to write in a better fashion with higher quality.

I myself would LOVE that. I would especially love to be one of the writing helpers as I totally LOOOOVE writing and I'm two grades ahead of my regular grade for writing. I think that's a great decision though.

As an RP Tutor, I would like to talk about my own experiences with helping others become better RPers/writers. Normally, when I look at a member who would like help, I end up typically helping them improving their writing in general - I don't tell them how to improve a specific post; rather I give them tips and pointers in order to help them improve overall as a writer. Our guides can do that too. Although they are mainly geared towards roleplaying, many of them (such as grammar, etc.) are applicable in daily life. Essentially, in my opinion, RP Tutors already are "writing helpers".

I personally think that our system works well, but if anyone else disagrees with me I would love if they could explain why :]

Yeah, I agree with Shrimp^^ RP tutoring is called RP tutoring because we're on an RPG; however, it does help with all aspects of writing in general. Other members who aren't tutors are free to give out tips informally, but as for members legitimately asking for help, I'd prefer just referring them to our trained and talented team of official tutors^^

Oh, and y'all should remember that there's a place in the District Square to post writing of any kind, so if you want help, opinions, etc just post your writing there and nicely ask friends and staff to look at it C:
