It wasn't until this that Dwyn realized how all three of them had volatile tempers. With Flight's heated words Dwyn felt her temper rising and Ghost was already fuming. It sure made things interesting. But, at the moment, Dwyn wasn't worried about interesting. She was worried about the fact that it was obvious the two didn't like each other. A frown crosses her face.
At Flight's challenge Dwyn's lip curls into her signature sneer. It was obvious Flight was ready for a fight. The fact that she wasn't at all physically prepared for one, especially not with someone like Ghost, seemed not too matter. And then something else occurred to Dwyn. For once in her life, Dwyn was encouraging peace, not flaming the fire. Amazing what friends could do for a person. Too bad that in the process Dwyn was getting pissed herself.
Ghost's words were almost unheard. She does a double take, not believing that he was the one stepping down. She shoots him a thankful look, grateful for it. "At least one person here cares about what I think." Her thoughts are venomous, but calmer. Maybe she wouldn't have to use her new daggers after all, though she would've tried to avoid using those on her friends anyways.
"Chill Flight." She says, her voice demanding. Flight might have seniority over her age wise, but that'd never mattered to Dwyn anyways. Too both of them she says "Can you get along? At least keep your thoughts to yourselves till I can't know about them." She knew they'd get into it eventually but hopefully they knew she'd be pissed if she found out.
Oh, how she hated being the middle man.
