"But I have no intention of leaving. They don't know who we are. And, if I have anything to do about it, they won't ever find out. And if they do? Well let them come. It can't be any worse than what the trouble I get into a daily basis." Ghost sighs in defeat. He had only prepared for Flight saying something like that. But Dwyn, why did Dwyn have to take that side. Obviously she wanted to get into trouble and do more dangerous things within the district.
"Dwyn's right. I just got back from that Hell, and I'm sure as fuck not leaving just because you screwed up and got us in this mess that, let me remind you, has nothing to do with us." True, but it still was a rash decision. He was about to object when Flight climbed out of the ledge next to him with Dwyn following suit with a lighter. Ghost glanced through the sight two more times before he climbed out of the hide. By this time, Flight seemed to have her bearings and was holding her arm out for one of them to help support.
He went to her and got into the position that he had used many times. Her arm was draped over his neck and he was holding onto her wrist with his left hand. With his right, his hand was grabbing onto her left shoulder. Ghost looked over to Dwyn and whispered, "Okay, you are the only one armed now. I think you should take point." He pointed ahead to show her his meaning. That way, he could be alerted to any presence and move Flight to the side if needed. He waited for Dwyn to begin walking in the direction that Flight had indicated.
