Fighting/Damage

Could someone explain to me the way the fighting goes on, in the actual games or otherwise?

Say I aim at person A, do they have the choice whether to dodge or take the hit? And can they choose where and how hard it hits them?

Then must they keep a tally of their own wounds using the Damage Calculator?

And what's a self defense station?

At what amount of damage do you die?


Anyway, if someone could answer those questions and generally underline how to fight in the arena or out, then I would be most grateful.

Hey Clover!

1. Nope, everything depends mostly on the system. They can be hit or you could miss them. And no, they cannot choose where/how hard it hits them -- the system chooses that as well. hungergamesrpg.com/index.cgi?board=battles&action=display&thread=9302

2. Yes, they need to tally it themselves but most people (especially when in the Hunger Games) remember. If in the Hunger Games, the gamemakers keep track too.

3. A self-defense station is a station that tributes go to before the Hunger Games like the ones in the book (Katniss avoids archery but learns how to tie a knot).

4. 40 HP and you die for the Hunger Games.
