	When one door closes we are so cought up in the event that we look longingly at the closed door and never realizing the one thats opening.....

I use an iPad sometimes-my mom's. They can sometimes be funky. Have you tried clicking twice? It can be slow sometimes getting to the next page. I've always been able to access my messages. Try clicking twice. If not, then your iPad might be messed up.
