Age: 15
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 1
Appearance:
Tabitha is a lovely young woman. She takes after her mother, like both of her older brothers do, with pale skin stretched over fine French bones. She has a smattering of freckles on her cheeks and nose, and being out in the sun gives her more freckles. Her grin is wide, friendly, and frequent.Personality:
As far as coloring, she favors her mother in that case too. She has a mane of red hair that's a bit longer than her shoulders, and bright blue eyes. She tends not to tan; she only burns.
She's a bit of a tomboy when it comes to clothing, perhaps from growing up with brothers instead of sisters. She hates dresses, but will wear them on special occasions. She likes darker colors, and rich colors like red and gold.
Yet despite her friendly appearance, she's athletic, with the body of a budding Career. Like her brothers, she's been trained to be in the Games, though not as harshly as her brothers.
Having grown up with two older brothers, Tabitha, nicknamed Tabby by Allen, grew up forceful, independent, athletic, and lively. She's not afraid to stand up to anyone, friend or foe, and will do so fiercely for anyone she cares about. However, her temper can make her unkind, and she's been known to hit sensitive spots with her comebacks.History:
She enjoys her time as a Career, and can be very competitive. She's also something of a bad loser, and once threw a knife at someone she lost to. She has a sharp wit, and tends to get into long stretches of banter with her brother, Allen. She's also a bit of a joker, and enjoys pulling pranks on people she likes.
She's a perfectionist, and enjoys pushing herself to the brink of her abilities, be in Career training, education, or the "softer" arts that her mother teaches her (cooking, cleaning). She expects the same tendency towards perfection from everyone else around her. While she's not disappointed in her oldest brother, Timothy, Allen constantly drives her to fits of frustration.
She's a performer, and loves to sing and act. She enjoys praise, but can take criticism. Her acting ability manifests in her being a bit of a liar in the day-to-day times, often making up stories and telling them to people so convincingly that they have no reason to think it isn't truth.
She's bisexual, but has never had a girlfriend, or even kissed another girl. She has had several boyfriends, however.
The third child of the Hearst family, and the youngest and only girl, Tabitha was in the shadow of not one, but two older siblings that her parents doted on, though in different ways. Her father didn't expect her to be a good Career, and her mother was so busy trying to keep Timothy from hurting Allen, that often she was ignored. It was this, perhaps, that resulted in her need for perfection. She wanted something for them to praise.Codeword: muttations
After Allen and Timothy's relationship got better, her sparkling grades and athleticism caught the attention of her parents, and she soon became what her brothers were compared to. "Allen, why can't your room be as spotless as Tabitha's is?" "Timothy, you would do well to take a leaf out of Tabby's book on doing homework!" While when they were younger, the twins resented this, as they got older, the siblings became very close.
She's closest with Allen, who she talks with often and helps with homework. She looks up to Timothy, and idolizes him; she has every confidence that he'll win the Games. Unlike her brothers, who have a tense relationship with their father, she's a daddy's girl. Her mother is often over-protective of her, a habit Tabitha detests.
She emulates her oldest brother, and so she's very good at using swords. She's also proficient in archery and using a slingshot. Like Allen, she's very bendy, though far more bendy than he is. She can contort herself in to shocking shapes, and is often the subject of much impressed whispers when she stretches at the Career battlefield.
Her brother Timothy has been Reaped, and the tensions in her family are at an all time high. Her mother has become something of a hysteric, while her father crows about his son being a future Victor.
Only Allen is truly with her in her time of half-worry, half-pride. His personality change worries her, but she's also relieved by it, as she's sure the past Allen wouldn't be able to take it if Timothy died, and there's a chance this one will be able to take it.
