When you first look at Rashta, you notice her eyes. Other people have brown eyes, Rashta has black eyes. No hint of emotion can be found in her blank stare, if one did not know her they would surely think she was looking through you, not at you. Somehow without showing anything, Rashta's eyes show everything--they tell the story of her life, a cold, menacing one worthy of live television since day one. Some close to Rashta would would swear they saw a glimmer of... something but then again, rumors spread like wild-fire. The face around these dark eyes is covered in smooth, olive skin. Her face looks like that of a predators. She has full lips, arched eyebrows, a smaller nose and has gotten over her teenage acne. The hair framing this girls face is red, curly and fierce. Its like a small flame surrounding her face. The length varies as her wildd hair grows very fast. One month it will be just above her shoulders, the next month its down her back. Her body is shapely, and although Rashta is only 5'8, she walks like a predator, and is as silent as a hunting cat. She could be called pretty, but most would say, scary, or haunting instead. Like a beautiful tiger, or bear about to take your life--you admire their looks but find yourself far too frightened by that said persons looks to dwell on that aspect of her too long. Her body is olive toned, and to anybody not blind, its clear she spends most of her time outdoors. Rashta often must hunt, thus her outdoors-y looks, she also is of course skinny as her belly is not full very often.

With all said, there is only one more thing about Rashta's appearance that sticks out. Things are not always what they seem. You better believe it because:

Personality:

Rashta, a girl of such feocious looks, with a menacing past. How does she manage to be so kind? When she hunts outside the borders of her home, she hunts to feed her friends and family. How did one so brave, and honorable be Rashta? Those who dont know her too well would say shes a bit scary, doesnt talk much, but when he does its better to listen, and seems shockingly kind-hearted. Some have stared at her in disbelief--shes a tough girl, she cant be nice! Rashta is often caught telling one of these people, 'Do not confuse kindness with weakness.' She is not too wise, but the things she blurts out are so much common-sense that some find her one of the smartest girls to grace District 12. Shes sly enough, anybody raised with a half-full belly, and a huge family to support has to be, but Rashta is of no great cleverness. Shes too rash and daring to think things through--prefering to act on a whim to thinking things through. Rashta is what some would call very brave, and others would say is foolish. Shes very much at her age, a girl struggling to find her place, and accept responsabilty even after around three years of having to be the back-bone of her growing family. She manages to be so youthful and so middle-aged simultaneously. Rashta, does not heal fast though and after the death of her twin brother, refused to even make eye-conatct with anybody until seven months later. She tries not to be a bother to anybody, as she knows life in the Seem is hard for not just her--why should she burden somebody else with her troubles?

History:

Rashta Delana=Danae Minthe was her families third child, her twin brother being the fourth. After her and her brothers birth the family decided to take a break from having children as times were tough and food was scarce. Her father and mother both worked, leaving their eldest child at age seven to care for her three younger siblings. Rashta and her big sister, Rachela were as close as two could be. Rashta fought with her two brothers, but nearly always was 'good' with Rachela. When the oldest sibling at the age of sixteen announced she was running away Rashta said she wanted to join her. By this time, Rashta had two younger siblings, and with this announcement her family was afraid of loosing two children as, 'attached to each extra mouth is two hands.' Rachela said her sister could join her and they made preparations for the twos leaving. The next morning nine year old Rashta woke up to find Rachela gone. The catch was, her twin brother, Clay, too was gone--having taken Rashta's traveling pack. The girl became furious that her best friend and oldest sister had taken her snobby little brother along instead of her. She regarded the two as dead, and did not speak for months. Rashta mourned Clay, and spited Rachela. Life had become so unfair. Time passed and her older brother, Collin, taught her to hunt for the family illegally. With the two of them hunting, her parents working, and her siblings keeping the house clean, etc etc, life ran smoothly. Rashta still has to fight to live, as shes never full enough, but shes managed to help her family enough. In her minimal spare time, Rashta is often found jogging, climbing trees, or doing other physical activities as she is scared to death of being chosen for the Hunger Games, and even more afraid of some loon coming and killing her without putting up a fight. Rashta is pretty strong, and has taught her family to always be aware of their surroudnings, and other things in case something ever were to happen to them.
