[glow=red,2,300]It was just a normal day, Eeti was going fishing on the coast of Panem. he was in the shade, stabbing a trident into the cold, breezy water. While Eeti was fishing, His brother had sped by him, yelling "ITS PARCEL DAY!" Eeti was excited, so he ran along with his brother. When the parcels arrived, Eeti had opened his. Eeti had gotten foods, and some fishing baits. that was great! Eeti sped back to his fishing spot, only to see that there was boats going by, so because of that, Eeti decided to change spots for the day. Excited, Eeti climbed up onto a rock, and put some bait on his hook. Fast enough, a fish had already been lured in!
Eeti had caught a large bass, which he thought his family would like to eat. He grabbed his bait, fishing rod, and ran back to his house. He saw his two parents talking about what they got, and then they both looked at him. He showed the bass to his parents, already gutted by him, they began to cook it. During that time, District 4 Had a fireworks show for parcel day. Eeti was amazed at the fireworks, and couldn't wait until the next time fireworks were here at district four. When they had returned home, the house was burning. It turns out that they had forgotten to take the fish off of the fire, and it eventually exploded with flames and heat. Eeti panicked, and grabbed a bucket. He started to douse the house with water, eventually making the fire stop.
Most of Eeti's house was destroyed, yet they still had the money with them. Eeti's parents nearly had to pay all of their money to rebuild the house, and barely any of it was the same. Eeti hated the new house, and than he realized something. This was his fault. If he never had gotten that fish, all of this would never have happened, Eeti thought. He told his parents that this was all his fault, and they said it wasn't. He explained how if he never got the fish in the first place, than this would never have happened. Then, his parents told him that it was parcel day's fault, because if they never sent that bait, than he never would've gotten the fish.
The next day, Eeti went to the village to go trade some things. Everyone was pointing at him, some laughing, some looking concerned. He walked up to his Normal Trader, and noticed the young boy standing beside him, with burn marks on his face, legs, and arms. Eeti didn't want the same thing to happen to him, also so he gave the young boy some money. In return, the boy told him his name, and said that he would tell many people of his kindness.[/glow]
