LIAM/LOGAN/LEVAN/LANCE ISAACS
It had been eighteen years since his body had been birthed, but it was mere years that separated the coming of this mind, and this mind, and this mind, and yes, even that mind. Born and raised in District seven, neither he nor his parents ever dreamed that he would one day be wandering in The Capitol, especially not as the mentally ill. It's easier to run
Replacing this pain with something numb
It's so much easier to go
Than face all this pain here all alone
NORMAL IN EVERY WAY
To anyone who didn't know him, which was a lot of people, he appeared to be normal. While normal may be a relative term, he was most certainly different from the average. He looked pretty plain, nothing of note. No extraordinary bit or visible sign of how non-normal his mind was. His hair is somewhat long, and is a dark brown colour. There's a slight wave to it, making it stick out at the ends while still framing his face. Dark brown eyes give away his thoughts and emotions, revealing his personality, whichever one it may be at that time, though no physical changes happen it can sometimes seem like it because of the difference created by each personality. His eyebrows are slightly darker than his hair and arch neatly above his mysterious eyes. His nose is well-centered above lips that are thin at the top and average at the bottom. His cheeks are slightly angles, but there is enough roundness to give him an almost baby-faced appearance.Something has been taken from deep inside of me
The secret I've kept locked away no one can ever see
Wounds so deep they never show they never go away
Like moving pictures in my head for years and years they've played
EXCEPT FOR THE SECRETS INSIDE
His neck is a good length for his body, joining with squared shoulders that are the right width for his body, if maybe a little slight. He isn't very muscular, but he has built up some substance so he isn't just skin and bone. He isn't fat because his rations aren't large enough for him to gain much weight if any at all. He stands at a height of 5'11" and weighs approximately 140lbs because of the poor rationing system he had lived on for nearly nine years now of his life. His legs make up most of his height, being slightly longer than his torso, and his arms are a good length in comparison to his upper body.
He is often seen wearing a long sleeve t-shirt under a short sleeved t-shirt because it is often too cold in the institution he lives in to wear anything else. He never wears shorts, preferring the extra warmth of pants, namely jeans. His only vanity is a brown watch with a square face, which used to belong to his father. It is his only reminder of home.If I could change I would take back the pain I would
Retrace every wrong move that I made I would
If I could stand up and take the blame I would
I would take all my shame to the grave
FRAILTY OF A BUTTERFLY
Liam
Liam is the original personality, being the one he was born with. He has a younger view and approach than the others, having been around more when he was younger and not having developed with the body. He is adventuresome and curious, wanting to learn about anything and everything in order to feel like he is prepared for the world when he will eventually meet it. It is uncommon for Liam to appear unless something of interest to him comes up, or something happens with one of the other personalities and he needs to take his mind from the incident. Liam is the only one of the four personalities that doesn't hold a dark secret, making it easier to escape the horrors of the others, and of life. Everything looks brighter as Liam, as well as more interesting. He is highly optimistic as Liam. It's easier to run
Replacing this pain with something numb
It's so much easier to go
Than face all this pain here all alone
SADNESS LIKE THE FORLORN SKY
Logan
The second personality developed by Liam. He refers to himself as Logan when he is like this, and does not respond to Liam. He is the second youngest of the personalities, but he is much closer to the actual age of the body. He is withdrawn and often has a very dark view of life. Under the control of this personality, he has often thought of committing suicide, though he is usually intterupted by one of the other personalities, mainly Lance or Liam. Logan began after the accident when his mother died. He is the embodiment of all of the pain, terror and sadness that Liam had felt. He holds the dark secret of his suicidal thoughts and the memory of his mother's death. He is highly pessimistic as Logan.Sometimes I remember the darkness of my past
Bringing back these memories I wish I didn't have
Sometimes I think of letting go and never looking back
And never moving forward so there'd never be a past
ANGER OF THE RAGING SUN
Levan
Levan was the third personality to develop. He does not respond to either Liam or Logan and does not even remotely recognize either name. He is the second oldest personality and matches the age of the body. He has a very short temper and is highly violent. He often resorts to anger in any situation, which most of the time is expressed in explosive bursts and results in at least one person being injured. He doesn't speak much as Levan, and instead grunts or uses his actions to express himself. He holds the weight of the memories about his father beating him and the terrible anger at him. He has vowed to kill his father, though he will only do so if he is Levan. If I could change I would take back the pain I would
Retrace every wrong move that I made I would
If I could stand up and take the blame I would
I would take all my shame to the grave
CALM LIKE THE SEA
Lance
The forth and oldest personality, Lance is the calmest and most level-headed. His age is older than that of the body's, closer to his father's age. He is the personality that will assert himself over the situation in case of an emergency or other danger. He came about when his father seemed to regain himself as Liam was being taken away. Lance is the collection of memories about his father when he was strong. He is a realist and does his best to fully understand all sides of something. He is highly observant and will notice things the other personalities, and any other person, might miss.Just washing it aside
All of the helplessness inside
Pretending I don't feel misplaced
It's so much simpler than change
SAVING HIM NOTHING
Liam was born a normal child, to a normal family that lived a normal life. Until everything went wrong. He was eight and he and his parents were being shown around the logging area they were planning on purchasing. The tour was going well and his parents had as good as bought the land when there was a terrible crashing sound and the sound of a revving engine. Without any warning a large tree came crashing down, and then another slightly smaller tree. Liam and his mother were struck by the large tree while his father was hit by the smaller. His mother died from her injuries, while Liam was put into a light coma as well as having a broken leg, broken arm and heavy concussion. His father was lucky and only suffered heavy bruising and a sprained wrist.
While in the coma, another person formed within Liam. Well, formed may not be the right word. Another personality emerged within him, and established himself as Logan. When he woke up nearly five months later, his father was by his side. However, as Logan, he didn't recognize him. The personality shift wasn't noticed because of the natural grieving process and usual recovery pattern of a patient who had suffered a concussion. For almost eight months Logan was the sole personality, though on the rarest of occasions Liam showed himself.
Over that whole time, his father never recovered from the shock and lost something of himself. It got to the point where he would beat Liam/Logan for no reason besides hating having memories of his wife. Because of the frequent, pointless, beatings a third personality developed. Levan grew from the hatred towards his father for the random beatings. At one point, he attacked his father and broke his nose before Logan took control. It was then that his father noticed the difference in personality and contacted the psychiatrist. Liam was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, also known as Multiple Personality Disorder. Now that his father understood what was going on, he treated Liam with more care, though he still beat him just to a lesser extent. It's easier to run

LEAVING HIM HOPELESS
It was nearly two years after the accident, and a year since his diagnosis. One day two peacekeepers and a professor-doctor-person came to their house. Without a word, they took Liam, who was Logan at the time. His personality shifted out of panic and he became Levan, striking at the peacekeepers with terrified fury. They continued to restrain him as the doctor spoke to his father. The suddenness of his son being taken had shocked his father and he became himself again. He had done his best to convince the doctor that there was no need to take Liam, but there was no use in trying. A highly esteemed psychiatrist from the Capitol had ordered that he needed to be brought to the insane asylum in hopes to assure the safety of District Seven.
As Levan saw his father's face and heard his words, his panic caused yet another personality to materialize. This was the fourth personality, known as Lance. As soon as Lance had taken control, he had calmed down and went with the peacekeepers quietly, observing everything and everyone at all times. He was taken by train to the Capitol, under peacekeeper and doctor supervision at all times. The train was designed for such a purpose, because whenever Levan took over he was placed in a padded room, sometimes even put into a straight jacket. At times they would have to put him there while he was Logan because of his suicidal tendencies. His personalities shifted often because of the strangeness of the area, situation and people.
Originally he had been placed in a solitary chamber with no way of human contact, but it was found that this would lead to his condition becoming worse. So, he was moved to an area where most of the patients were kept. But this turned out to be too noisy and drove him to often be Levan which put the other patients at risk. For eight years now he has been in a separate area of the facility, but able to visit the more populated area of the hospital when he wished. It's easier to run

Retrace every wrong move that I made
