Katie is a very tall, slight girl. She's 3 inches taller than normal girls her age, and she sticks out sorely. Her hair is a dark brown that glows red in the sunlight. It's grown to the end of her shoulderblades, and is very curly which makes it diffucly to mess with. Usually, she braids it in pig-tails or puts it into a controlled ponytail. Her eyes are a warm shade of green that sometimes turn hazel. She has high cheekbones, giving her the appearance of a model, but she had a scar extending from the bottom of her left ear to the base of her neck from a past accident with hunting.Personality:
Katie wears nothing but red shirts, dark 'skinny' jeans, and 'converse' type shoes that rise just below her ankles. Her skin is a creamy tan from staying outside in the sun, and her hair also has slight blonde streaks from the sun's dye. She has full lips, which are naturally tinted a shade of baby pink. Other than her scar, is skin is virtually flawless.
Katie is a very easy-going, relaxed person. She loves to spend time with friends and family, and usually involves everyone whenever in groups. She does like to do things correctly, but she's not so much a perfectionist. She loves creating new gadgets out of raw materials found around the District and she enjoys using her imagination.History:
She is also a very soft person, always there for someone who needs her. She loves to help others, and is virtually pure, except she can become blocked and slightly rude. She's typically friends with everyone, but she has many pet-peeves. She is very quiet and is typically shy around anyone she doesn't know.
But she can also have a dark side. She can develop some rude language and also a brief temper. She stomps, throws things, and cries until her eyes hurt. But she never gets those moods commonly, it's only during terrible situations. She's very fun to be around, and can usually be found outside in a tree daydreaming.
Katie was born into a normal family, along with her parents and one sister. Her sister was 12 at the time she was born, and by the time Katie was 10, her older sister Hiaru had moved to work in the capitol. She usually misses her sister, but she's grown used to living with just her parents and she. It gets very quiet, but that's when Katie will normally be reading a book or inventing something.Codeword: oDair (guessing it still is)
One day, Katie was walking home from school. She had been sick, and stayed home with her mother while her father went to work. After having a terrible illness, her fever had worn off and she was drenched in sweat. Hekate had been laying around the house all day, and had gotten virtually lazy by the time her father came home.
A month after Katie had her time of bedrest, her father grew seriously ill. His cought was much worse, and every night he slept with fevers that raged higher than 102.1. He soon became too sick to eat, and then, too sickly to even drink and lfuids by his mouth. hekate and her mother were very worried, and they feared he might die. He stayed in bed for 4 months, until the final morning, he passed away. Katie hung her head low for months, speaking to no one and always zoning out during and conversations. She was slowly slipping, that is, until her sister came back for a visit. Learning of the recent news, Hiaru cried for days, and later, Hekate joined in on the sob-fest. They grew more together, and kept each other happy. Finally, it was time for Hiaru to travel back to the capitol. Biding her sister farewell, Katie made a promise to herself, and to her father.
Katie has always promised him to be a freind, to be polite, and to be there for everyone. She told him, directly before he passed on, that she would make him proud. And to this day, she still tries to keep her promise.
