Personality:
Fawn stands at an average height for a girl. She is at about 5 feet 5 inches and her body is slim, but fairly healthy. Living in District 6 has made Fawn not unhealthy but not as healthy as those in higher districts either. Her pale skin is framed by wavy, chocolate brown hair. Her hair flows a bit past her shoulders with streaks of naturally lighter browns here and there. By looking in the mirror, Fawn can see parts of her mother in her hazel eyes that mirror the eyes her mother had. Fawns lips are a bit smaller than average and almost always set in a pout or thin line, driving her poor grandmother crazy. Fawn always keeps her hair down in it's natural waves because it covers her almost elf like ears, a trait carried by most of her family.
Dark eyeliner and darker clothes are the norm for Fawn and this only helps show how pale she really is. Wearing long sleeves, Fawn attempts to hide the scars of her off days. During the summer, a quick dab of her homemade concealer can hide the scars on her wrists. Fawn has never shown these marks of weakness to anyone except her grandmother who promised to keep it a secret if Fawn would promise never to do it again. Of course, Fawn's promise has been broken once or twice, but with the concealer her grandmother taught her to make, a slip up once or twice doesn't hurt anyone, right?
Fawn's slim body does not leave very much room for muscle, but her long legs are those of a runner. She is also fairly stealthy due to her preference of solitude. When Fawn does smile, it lights up her whole face, especially her eyes. Because Fawn is not much of a girly girl, she normally does not wear a dress except for the Reaping. She also does not wear any jewelry. Fawn prefers to keep her outfits, hair, and makeup simple. As far as she is concerned, there is not reason for her to dress up since there is no one she feels the need to impress. Fawn is a natural beauty and she hates anyone who tries to change her.
History:
Fawn has grown colder and more distant over the years as she has become the rock of her family. The loving side of Fawn only peers out when she is surrounded by her five siblings. Fawn has learned to hide her emotions from the public eye because she does not want to be seen as weak. Her goal is to appear invincible, but beneath this icy exterior is a real softy. She cannot help but be drawn to those who are the underdogs and she has an especially large soft spot for her brothers.
If someone speaks to Fawn, she will respond out of courtesy, but do not expect her to jump up and start a conversation. Fawn prefers the silence and beauty of nature, the second place after her home where she will let her stone walls down and relax her pinched lips. She loves to find a quite place among trees or even just a grassy space to rest and think. When she isn't at school or taking care of her siblings, Fawn is normally sneaking away to be alone. She isn't a complete hermit and does enjoy the company of a close friend, but making close friends is difficult for her. Because of her father's attitude since the death of her mother, Fawn has developed trust issues and this makes it hard for her to have many friends.
Fawn is smart but not a genius, her slim build provides no extra strength, and she can hardly handle a kitchen knife. Fawn, however, discovered early on in life she had a gift for persuading. She found that she can persuade people to really agree with her and think like her. Also, Fawn's ability to see, hear, and smell have proven to be better than most. Of course she cannot see perfectly in the dark like a cat, but she can see, hear, and smell slightly better than most people. She also has the build of a runner, but without large open areas, she is not able to build on this.
Fawn's loving side, which only comes out around her siblings and grandmother, no longer appears around her father. She knows not to put faith in him. Because of her bad relationship with her father, Fawn ignores the male population and does not trust them as more than acquaintances. If a guy bothers her too much, Fawn, with a punch or degrading come back, can quickly set him straight. She is not afraid to give others a piece of her mind and this is both a gift and a curse. Although few people bother or annoy Fawn now since they are afraid of a black eye, Fawn has developed both enemies and a few friends.
Fawn grew up in a family whose financial status was not at the bottom of the District 6 food chain, but certainly not the top. Her family always had enough food to eat, but there was not any extra to waste. She lived a fairly peaceful childhood with her father, mother, and brothers. Her mother, however, would later die when Fawn was eleven. Lucinda, Fawn's mother, became very ill after giving birth to the youngest member of the family and extreme blood loss caused her to die before she could receive medical attention.Codeword: Odair
Soon after Lucinda's death, Fawn's grandmother moved into the house and tried to replace the lost mother figure. Phyro, Fawn's father, became distant after his wife's death and Fawn learned never to trust his word about when he would be home again, where he had been, or about anything really. Fawn and her older brother, Marcus, had to care for the family. When the Hunger Games took Fawn's only older sibling away from her, she finally snapped. Now Fawn despises the Capitol and Hunger Games more than ever. She hates the people of the Capitol who live safe in luxury and the Games as a whole with her entire body, mind, and sou.
Fawn now has five younger siblings, all boys, and they are the one thing keeping her sane. Many times Fawn has wondered if anyone would notice if she disappeared. She works hard to keep food on the table and tries to keep a put together look for the benefit of her brothers and grandmother. Against her grandmother's wishes, Fawn has signed up for tesseras each year to help feed the family since large amounts of money has disappeared since her father began to drink. Fawn knows that if she were to be chosen for the Hunger Games, she would have a slim chance at surviving, but she refuses to stop signing up for tesseras until her family is properly fed.
