Amira has highly unkept hair. It's almost a blood-red color. She mostly has it up in a ponytail with the front section dangling free.Personality:
She accidentally burned her eyebrows off a while back, so they're only slightly growing back. They're the exact same color as her hair and are usually knit closely together.
Her cheeks are almost clear, with the exception of her freckles. They aren't that apparent, but they practically multiply if she's out in the sunlight too often.
Amira's lips are her best quality. They're perfectly proportional in length and in distance from her eyes, and they're almost equal in size, with the bottom lip being a bit thicker. They're a lovely crimson color.
She only has one ear, her left one. There's not even a nub or anything, it's just flat where her right ear should be. The whole hearing mechanism and ear canal are still there, just inside her head.
She's as tall as everyone else, but her body mass is lower than normal. All of her physical attributes aren't fully developed yet, so she appears younger than she actually is.
Amira is really sweet. She's always complimenting anyone she meets, even though she's got a shy demeanor. She's always timid and never really walks up into large groups of people. She'll put her two cents in at times, but she never openly joins the conversation, people think she's judgmental, but really, she's just too scared.History:
She never lies to anyone, ever. No matter how much the truth may hurt them. Amira feels like lies multiply the amount of pain that would have been caused if someone would have just been honest.
Amira can't stay in one place too long, she's not able to to settle down. Her connection with places reminds her of her daughter. And for her to be content, she'd have to be closed off from all thoughts of her daughter.
She's really hard to figure out, because she keeps all of her traits a secret. She hardly ever tries to make friends with other people because she might one day be abandoned by them and end up alone. She hates feeling like she has nobody to lean on, and she feels like she's greatly codependent.
Amira got married to her boyfriend when she was 15, after the birth of her daughter, Anice. The marriage was going through really well, until he started beating her and her daughter.Codeword: Odair
A couple of months after the abuse, Anice went missing. Nobody would help look for her after a few days, but Amira never gave up hope.
Amira then committed murder. She was fed up with her husband's lack of support and constant disapproval. She took a kitchen knife one morning and tortured her husband until he couldn't scream anymore. She then slit his throat and quickly left the premises.
The Peacekeepers are actively searching for her, as she's searching for her daughter. Amira is now a fugitive of sorts, so she's been keeping a low profile lately. She's not even allowing herself to see her parents, for fear that they may accidentally out her in some way.
It's been a bit under a year now, and Amira's scavenging around the District, only coming into the public when she has enough money to afford something or there's an event like the Reapings. She's still looking for her daughter, who would be around a year old now.
She's becoming more dependent and learning to accept the reality of her life and love herself more. She's realizing that she's stronger than she gave herself credit for, but with her being a fugitive and all, she may not ever be able to share her story with anyone.
