Romeo + Juliet. We all know how that story ends. Star crossed lovers, one from the glitz and glam of the Capitol, with the backing of daddy's money and an innocent mind on her side. The other from the slums, born and raised in a forgettable District and whisked away by concerned older sisters who watched him go just the slightest bit crazy. A rebel-sympathizer and a girl who thinks the Hunger Games are fake. They're doomed, no matter how you slice and dice it.

But what if there were a third, another girl? What if Romeo wasn't a Ladies Man Lothario, but a bumbling idiot on hormonal high with a super memory? And what if Juliet never even found out her Romeo was from the opposite side of the political spectrum, because she doesn't even know about any rebels - after all the Games are fake. What if the third girl was an alien and - oh wait, sorry wrong story. What if the third girl were a sister to Romeo, until of course she gained a few assets and reminded Mr. Sixteen Years Old and An Idiot of his longtime crush on her?

Ro has always known Number Six. They're childhood friends, from the same District. But she disappeared a year before he joined District Thirteen without a trace. He's only recently reconnected with the runaway buxom blonde, and is finally paying heed the signs of a serious relationship blooming between them. Just at about the same time he meets probably the most innocent girl in all of Panem. A Capitolite, nonetheless! Can she change his perception of the rebellion and keep him from the violence? Will he convince her the Games are in fact real?
