Have you ever read or seen I Am Number Four? Have you ever read The Power of Six? Did you enjoy them? If you answered yes to these three questions, then read on!
Even if you haven't read the books/seen the movie, you can still participate in this plot. So I'll start with the basics of the books.
On the planet Lorien, there are ten special children. They all will have different powers when they grow up, and they are meant to save Lorien. When they are all young, Mogadorians from the planet Mogadore come an attack Lorien. The planet is destroyed, and everybody but twenty people die. Eighteen of these people and a few pets board a rocket ship which takes them to Earth. Shortly after the first ship launches, the last two people and an animal board a second ship. Nobody thinks the ship made it, but it really did. When the eighteen people get there, they are given packets with information on how things on Earth work and locations to go to. They then split into nine groups of two, and all go their separate ways. They are spread out on six continents, and no group knows where another is. Each group consists of a child and an adult. The children are members of the Garde and the guardians are Cêpans. Each member of the Garde has a necklace, which is a thread of rope-like material with a small, silver circle attached to it. The circle has a blue spiral on it. The necklace works as a charm that keeps the Mogadorians from killing out of order. So if you were number Six, numbers One through Five would have to be killed before you could be killed. There's one exception, though. If number Four and Nine were together, for example, they can both be killed. The members of the Garde will develop things called Legacies in their older teens. Legacies are like superpowers. Also, each group has a chest. The chest can be unlocked by the number it's assigned to and their Cêpan after the number's first legacy has developed. If the Cêpan ever dies, the number can open the chest by itself. The chest is full of special items that the two can use.
TL;DR-
This is how it will work for the plot.
The twenty people will not remember Lorien at all. They will think they have lived in Panem their whole life, but they do know that they have to hide from the Mogadorians. They do have their necklaces and chests and such. They can still develop Legacies, but they can't have Legacies like in the book, of course. They can have things like speed, strength, etc. Things that would be allowed. Also, the Mogadorians will not be real Mogs. They'll have to be "human." Once they open their chest for the first time, pm me an I will give you about ten items that are in their chests. So now, onto characters!
Characters info-
You can have a character as either a Garde member or a Mog. You can also create a Cêpan if you wish, but it's not required. If you don't create a Cêpan, just give it a name and it can be a side character in your posts. If you create a number, it has to either live in a district or be a wanderer, and you also have to name your Cêpan and state if it's male or female. I will allow up to two Garde members per district, but if two members live in the same district, they can't automatically know that they are a number.
For Mogs, it would be best if they were wanderers, so they can travel from district to district to kill the Garde. They should at least be in their mid-twenties and they can work in groups.
You can have up to three characters in this plot. One number per person, one Garde per person, and one Mog per person. You can have only one character if you wish. Also, you can use characters you already have for this plot. Once some people sign up, I'll work out how we'll get rps started.
-Edit-
I've decided on how this will work. Once all the numbers have been made we will start. I'll create a thread for each group to do a brief intro, which will consist of your number(which is at a young age) separating from the others and going to their location. After that, we will skip ahead about seven years. I will create a thread for Number One, and I will be a "main" Mog. We'll meet up after about two posts each, then go to the battledome for a fight. I will have a small army of other Mogs with me, and it will end with the "main" Mog killing One. Any attack above 6.0 on a "side" Mog will kill it. After One dies, I may or may not create a thread for the other numbers reacting to their first scar. If I do, I'll wait a day or two before doing the with two. Then three. After that, I will create a new thread on the character plot explaining how we will proceed. I know it's kinda complicated, but I really wanted to do this. I hope you will bare with me.(:
