Welcome to the Boxing event of the very first Panem Olympic Games! The boxing rings are located within the Olympic Arena, with stands for spectators traveling from Districts One, Two, Four, and the Capitol to watch the competitors. Television cameras are set up around as well, to broadcast the event to anyone staying home as well as to the other districts who aren't as lucky and competent as you all! Please be sure you stretch and warm up with your coaches before you're called to the starting block, and remember, make your district proud!

The boxing event is a tournament, which follows a bracket. Each match will occur on this thread. Feel free to roleplay your character boxing their opponent and then paste the code [*dice=7] without the asterisk into your post THREE TIMES and roll, as you would with a Hunger Games die. These numbers are added up to determine the winner of each match.

The competitor who scores higher than their opponent moves on to the next round, which will be posted on a new thread. As the boxers post, the winners will be recorded here; when all the first round matches have been completed, the bracket will be updated and the next round will start.

Jaguar had failed at her sabre match, no ifs, ands or buts about it. She had always been a good fencer, great even at her peak, but aging and lack of practice had diminished her skills. It infuriated her, and made her twice as determined to do better in her only other event. She realized her mistake too late; she should have tried to qualify for more fencing events, for anything that she could. If she was going to absolutely suck at something, she was going to suck at everything, keep her name on people's tongues.

At least she had Shiv to look forward to.

Of all the people in the boxing bracket Bianca would get paired with him. Probably one of the only people she knew, and not just in the since of having met. Braxton was even taller than herself, just as bulky and just as hideous. Her blue yes couldn't help but stare at the burns twisting up the side of his face, even though she hated it when people stared at her like that. Both freaks. Braxton and Bianca, the circus freaks of District Two. Evidently, they planned to get rid of them right off the bat. She wasn't scared as most people may have been standing in the shadow of Braxton's enormous frame.

It was a opponent that was equal to him. In everything that he could do this other fighter could. The worse thing was it was a female. He had seen so few females fight as good as her. But he knew he couldn't let her win. He had to bring pride and a medal back to his district. [dice=7]
