As her own individual person, Nil is an enigma as she does not particularly fall under stereotypical black characteristics. Nine inches of tattered tennis shoe wrap over her rough feet due to exercise and walking around barefoot at times. They are callused at the toes and top of the foot. Bulky and hard to fit into some normal tennis shoes since Nil's feet are usually sore and puffed. Her parents can hardly afford to get socks but Nil tries to suppress the stink by washing them hard in water - a lot of the time without soap - causing red spots to form. The top-side color of the feet is a bole-brown while the underside is a chamoisee. Her toenails have chips and irregularities from lack of care but still shine and have no discoloration.

Her legs are very muscular, tight. Though they have more of a rectangle-shape and less curve, power is instilled all throughout. The slenderness is missing and replaced with some fat. Nil's legs have scars and scratches from horrible attempts of shaving with knives and rusty razors, but she, herself, does not mind them. Blotches of discoloration can be seen from radiation. A couple of moles are placed in randomly on the surface and are said that they can become detrimental if she were to expose them to sunlight too often. The color of her legs are mostly a bistre-brown, with the underside and skin usually covered in shorts a mixture of seal brown and bole.

Due to extensive training, Nil is very curvaceous, which contradicts her block-like legs. Most of her mass weight is by lean muscle, fat pretty non-existent. Her front is a more of a concoction of bole and chamoisee and the back a dark camel-brown. She has an outtie for a bellybutton. Nil is starting to form abs, much to her pleasure. (She doesn't care so much for her abdomen). Nil has a small rack. Some curves of stretch marks appear throughout her abdomen.

Less than her legs, Nil also has muscle in her arms. She will not be forming any flab or bat wings any time when she gets around her 50s or 60s. There is a mole on the right elbow that is irritated and sensitive from past scratchings till bleeding came. The superficial and underside are the same color as her legs. Places of new skin on her knuckles and forearm suggest a lot of scrapings and skin breaks. The shoulders tend to shine under any light, extremely smooth, which could be her most prominent feature as it is free of scarification and marks. Again, her nails have chips and irregularities. There are lots of scars along the arms.

Nil's neck is medium in width and thickness. One can almost wrap one hand around it completely. Lengthwise, the neck is only two or three inches. There is hardly any curve on the structure. The shape of the head itself is a strange triangle that seems deformed and obscure. Her chin protrudes slightly but not to the point of noticing from a distance. Out of all the physical traits - except arms and legs - Nil worries about the shape of her head.

Pale, icy eyes are set in sockets of curve, bringing out a romantic or sexy aura with them, though Nil has no intentions. She has thin eyebrows that are black much like her hair. Nil's nose is, true to her heritage, flat, having wide nostrils but still having a noticeable bridge. The lips are full and luscious; when they smile, they are sweet and innocent, pure; as for a frown - which is more common - blazing and spiteful. Nil has a cross-bite and has some gap between teeth; she tries to take care of them to the best of her ability - which cannot always happen to their financial state. Ears of small size are placed against the sides of her head and don't demand attention. The pigmentation of her skin is between bole and camel.

Coarse and thick are the two distinct qualities of the strands of hair. Multiple small and tight braids hug her head as they journey to the back and stop just at the base of the neck. She hates having long hair, which is defined as if it can whip her face and goes past the head line. Much like the rest of her body, she tries to take of it to the best of her ability without spending too much. It tends to get greasy and sticky under no care. Her hair can shimmer but it's dim.

Nil only wants clothes that will help her in her training, so expect sports gear or shorts and tank-top. Rarely will she change out of those types of clothes. Since she cannot feel heat or cold, she'll wear the same sort of stuff even during a nippy winter and a blistering summer. A lot of her fabric is holey and torn, but she cares not for that until she feels she absolutely needs to replace them. She sometimes ties a sweatshirt around the waist just for the heck of it. "And for the extra weight for training," she might say. Nil wears tattered shoes that are ready to fall off anytime. Much against the rest of her character, she actually likes colors - all colors, but she prefers yellows and vibrant in case she goes out running at night. She can be fashionable but chooses not to show or say little. If Nil must wear fancier clothing, she would want a sundress or a set of blouse and dress pants so she can move around easily.

Personality:

On the outside, some could say Nil looks like a bore and tend to stray away from her gaze of knowing her financial status. Men have had accounts saying that she was giving them seductive eyes, tempting to lure them to her, though she has no intentions. She is the common type of poor. Once people see the dirt and the shape of her nails, they go away. She doesn't mind much. If any try to talk to her by bringing up a conversation based on opinions, Nil tends to drive them away by her very opinionated mind and arguments. Her sarcasm drips iciness from her tongue.

Nil doesn't have many friends; she tends to drive people away. She hasn't been able to get close to people because of her outbursts, arguments, and the sort. She does not change much from stranger to friend in terms of how she treats people. At first, one could see she is facetious - not to be taken seriously from her caustic nature. Then crude. Then impatient and greedy. On her character scale, she is more negative than positive. Even if one gets to know her to the point of friends, Nil is still uncooperative and picky. If she does go from stranger to friend, expect her to show more of her clumsiness and positive traits but also her way of teasing people: doing repeated actions that she knows annoys them.

Nil is clumsy and uncaring to any marks on her body due to her CIP (Congenital Insensitivity to Pain with Anhidrosis). As a child, she would try to cut herself or fall over to know what pain was, so she knew it was her fault for any scarification on her body. She has tendencies to be picky and greedy from her financial situation. The rest of her qualities are from past experiences with people.

Her actions are judged by her argumentative and quarrelsome nature. Nil wants people to hear her, her thoughts, her opinions without them focusing on themselves. Since she could not get the attention often, she is deprived and tries to get some focus now - if provoked by a two-sided issue. Indifference is key. Her inability to feel pain and temperature makes her forget how much it hurts for others.

Nil is a strong leader-type, harboring both courage and reserves of potent energy. Valiant is an understatement. She is quite careful and only decent in conversation; but, she makes up for those with her giddiness and thankfulness. She really loves to train. Absolutely adores training to release pent-up energy.

Nil is the whole umbrella about verbal conflicts: argumentative, quarrelsome, opinionated, and impatient. Qualities that contribute more are her uncooperative, vulgar, and uncontrollable natures. Do not command her when her mind is set on something; she will not listen. She has to taken with a pinch of salt because of her sarcasm. She intentionally molests people with repeated actions and has a record to show it. As mentioned before, she is clumsy, crude, greedy, and picky. Nil will drop a lot of curses if agitated.

Nil is everything argumentative as she is everything exercise-related. She might scoff from time to time because of her sarcasm and weird ways of playfulness. The black young woman can be grateful if someone does good to her, and she occasionally lets her girl side get to her in the form of giddiness. Watch for her muscles; they spell courage and strength, ready to knock you out. Be patient with her mannerisms and counteract with her impatience to be on her good side.

History:

Nil's parents were both workers of the construction area, respective to their District's main profession. Nil's father, Reynold, was originally married to a woman, Regina, who also worked on the actual construction like he did. Many numerous attempts to have children were inhibited, the reason being - later they learned - by the blockage of tubes from a pelvic inflammatory disease when she was younger. Since they both desired a child badly, Nil's father impregnated a willing woman, Lepsara, who worked with him in the measurements department and already had a boy with her own husband. Overtime, the Reynold fell for Lepsara while still loving Regina. He cheated a little, offering the pregnant lady what little he had, and, desperate enough from her financial issues, gave in. Regina kicked out the man and, when the money ran out, the pregnant lady denied him. Reynold committed suicide by 'suicide by Peacekeeper', leaving the ladies with an unborn Nil. Just a month before her birth, the Regina finally forgave Nil's mother, grudgingly, understanding the financial issues, and said that they both could take care of Nil. Thus, Nil has two mothers but no father.

Both mothers of Nil were in serious debt. They had to switch the baby around a lot depending on who had more at the time. Nil almost died at the age of three due to a fever and the mothers almost not catching it since she was not sweating. Lepsara had cradled the infant against her chest, thus feeling the heat of the child. At first, the diagnosis was that she had a sweat gland disorder, thus why no sweat was present.

In her childhood years, Regina and Lepsara noticed Nil was overly clumsy; she would fall and scrape her knees or cut her arms and legs and would just stare at them with her pale blue eyes. Nothing but a cry from the shock of falling, thus the mothers thought she was fine in the department of pain. As Nil kept growing, though, they noticed that she started to eat hairballs, ice cubes, grass, other inedible things; then, eventually, they grew concerned when they saw accounts of Nil taking knives and masses of blood all over the floor and counters. When Regina and Lepsara kept questioning why Nil did her cutting, she would only answer, "I don't feel anything, Mommies. All the kids cry when they get booboos, but I don't at all. I don't feel 'pain'. I don't know what's 'hot' or 'cold'." The doctors kept diagnosing differently per each visit until one spotted the right one: the rare Congenital Insensitivity to Pain with Anhidrosis. Nil couldn't feel pain, heat, or cold, and she had Pica. Childhood introduced her to exercise, the joy of losing energy all for fun and training. She liked to see the scars of work and the muscle bulging, the intense energy of kicking a bag of sand. Of course, she has to watch for her 'heat' levels that she cannot feel; her mothers tell her to drink cold water every twenty minutes for normal exercise and every ten minutes if during summer, to prevent overheat that she cannot detect.

Nil, due to her disorders, cannot be around knives or sharp objects without people looking over her. She had to be sent to the hospital once for an account that she swallowed a nearby razor - without a thought - and couldn't detect the blood forming in her mouth. During her childhood and teen years, she would get scolded and berated by children and adults of higher status than her, thus she grew to be impatient and very opinionated of her 'perfect' world. She started to argue with others when they talked about controversial issues and her weirdness. Her greediness and picky nature formed from her financial issues with her two mothers, who still don't have enough to support them at times. Nil is still just as clumsy and stares at newly formed injuries.
