Age: Nineteen
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 1
Appearance:
Emile wasn't actually born in the perfect expanses of a well maintained hospital surrounded by nurses. No; he was cut out of his mothers stomach three months before expected on their bed at home. The first hundred days of his life it wasn't even sure if he'd live, but by a miracle he managed to survive, and quickly grew.Personality:
As it was - unbeknownst to him - he wasn't their first child. In-fact, he was their second, his sister, Amy, having been sent off to partake in the games five years before. She hadn't returned after that year was over.
Regardless, the fame and prestige that came to the Avaant mearly fueled his parents on. They weren't cruel or bad parents by any means - Emile wasn't immediately going to go in the games, but his father saw potential - or said he did.
So, over the years and years, Emile was put through training. It varied from week to week, he was put through school and allowed a social life - more to keep him happy than anything else. He was told that the games where to help his family in the long run, and that he was guaranteed to win.
Despite this, he wasn't very good. He wasn't nearly as strong as his sister had been, nor was he so versatile with weaponry. He was handy with knives, but little else. He wasn't as fit as she had been, either. In almost every respect he wasn't nearly as good as Amy had been - and even she had died, despite everything.
And so, it was when this was realized, Emile's mother left one night when he was twelve, not being able to take knowing that her son wouldn't even last a day most likely. But, despite the loss of his mother, his father pretty much forced him to continue training, because he could be picked at any time.

I hope he doesn't come off as a Gary-Stu!
