Appearance:

Vision has a thin and petite figure, making her look much younger than 15. She is also very beautiful, with long, light brown hair, accompanied by green emerald eyes. Making her especially different from the rest of the citizens of District 12's Seam, her skin is snow white with no scars on it, nor any dirt ever covering it. The only part contrasted against the rest of her light complexion are her rosy red cheeks and light pink lips.
Vision is usually seen in dark, long, and fitting pants and an old t-shirt, covered in dirt and mud. Along with these, she wears brown boots, handed down by her older brother. She sometimes wears a silver locket around her neck that used to be her sister's. Other than that, she doesn't wear any accessories. Not including the brown ribbon she wears in her hair.

Personality:

Vision is polite and uses manners, even with peacekeepers. She is usually quiet, though, and keeps to herself. She is fearful of the capitol, so decides not to insult them in any way. Although calm on the outside, she holds most feelings inside. She is scared of the Hunger Games and she hates all of the Capitol for taking her sister's life.
She loves helping people and animals as much as she can, and sacrifices much of her time to help strangers of the Seam.
Due to her silence and isolation at school, Vision has no friends. When people try to be her friend, she just turns them away, in fear she would lose them to the Reaping. Despite her silence with everyone else, though, she always opens up to her brother, and listens well to her mother. Of which she loves.
Although she loves to help people, Vision is relieved at the fact that she has already survived the four previous Reapings that she was eligible to be chosen in. She just keeps quiet and tries to force herself not to think that they are going to die within a few days, because she knows that the odds wouldn't be in her favor.
She would trust the wrong people, as she does often. She can't tell good from bad, and is always gullible. She can't lie to people so she figures people are the same to her.

History:

Vision Kimberly had an older sister, which died while competing in the 53rd Hunger Games, when Vision was just a young child. Her older brother also recently died, after he was found hunting and was publicly executed. He would sneak away mostly every day to get food, due to the fact that their father mysteriously disappeared after going on an outrage after her sister's death. After that, Vision's older brother stepped in to supply Vision, their mother, and himself. He brought Vision out a few times when there were few peacekeepers about, and taught her. She was a natural, as he said, and learned quick.

Vision's mother tries to keep herself going, but finds it much too hard. She only tries for Vision. They each work together, healing sick or dying people. It doesn't help much, which is why Vision's mother also holds prostitution. Vision knew it was her fault, and she insisted upon just getting tessarae, which her mother refused instantly. They each made just enough money to get enough food in their mouths to stay alive.

Also to help with food, Vision's brother's friend, Levi Bent, helps put food on the table. She talks with him a lot, and is beginning to like him. She knows she has to resist though. She has to pull back the urge, before it's to late. Before she loses him like she lost her brother, sister, and father.

On Vision's spare time, she would practice, like her brother used to show her. Her and her mother owned one knife in the household, which her brother showed her how to defend herself with. He taught her how to properly hold it, and how to throw it. Since her brother's been teaching her ever since she was younger, Vision can now hit a target every time. He also would sit with her beside the large fence, bordering District 12, and would show her tactics. She would never follow him, but would watch him as he hopped from limb to limb. Afterwards, they would race back, him letting her win. This was before she was 12, though, before she had things to worry about.
