Name: Lion Silverblade. Nickname(s): Tiger, Blade.
(She was named this because her Mother wanted her to be brave and to be safe until she was eighteen.)
Age: 16 Years and ten months old.
Gender: Female.
District/Area: District Twelve, The Seam.
Appearance:
Daily Appearance:
Lion is a mid-height young woman with grey, misted eyes. She always wears thin, ripped, black cloths. Her father, sick, cannot afford anything else. Her brown locks of hair relax on her shoulders, and around her neck is a necklace. The necklace is made of lightly carved bits of stone, with the picure of a jay carved into the middle largest stone on it. The largest stone is roughly the size of a toe. Lion's hair is so long, it resembles a main. This suits her name. She also has very pale skin, like most residents in The Seam.
Reaping appearance:
Lion hates the Reaping as much as any-one in District Twelve. Because of this, she ties her hair up in a tight pony tail using an old, ripped bit of cloth. She dresses in her grandmother's reaping dress, a tan white gown with a blue collor and odd, blue rim. It is to remind her of her Grandmother, an elderly women who died of a terrible chest infection. She wears her mothers bracelet, the only jewelry other then the wooden necklace. It was a rare gift... an amazing blue bracelet with orange spots. Of coarse, it was not made of any fine jewels or such as the things they wear in the Capitol. But, to have a bracelet so brightly colored in the Seam, it looked like a diomond compared to others. Lion wears her normal, everyday shoes.. because she those not have any others.
Personality:
Lion is very kind and gentle, but fiercely protects her family and friends from nearby bullies. She is only 16, but has a knack for healing herbs. She uses these herbs to help her friends when wounded. Lion is a very shy young girl, barely sharing any words with anyone but her family and friends. She has a soft spot for small animals like crows and mice, unlike most girls who would rather kill them.
Shcool Reputation:
Not many of her Classmates like her, exept for mabye one or two friends. Some bullies prefare to pick on her, but she eighter ignores them or makes clever retorts to try to ward them off for a while. Her teachers see her as just another girl to blah to about the history of Panem and and Coal-Mining and such subjects. Some teachers get a frustrated, as the only time Lion ever seems to pay attiontion is when they are talking about the history of the Hunger Games. When the teachers talk about it, she freezes, and stares at the teachers with an un-readable expression. Those who would not know her would think she were excited or shocked. But those who do know her understand that when she gets that strange expession, she is frightened, angry and sad.

History:
When she was about three years old, Lion tiptoed downstairs in secret, and caught a glimpse of a huge lion tearing a tribute apart. The frightened girl ran upstairs, beginning to cry. Her mother rushed to comfort her, calling to her: ''Lion, Lion, it's OK!'' But Lion snapped back. ''Don't call me that! Call me... Tiger.'' Her mother refused to do so, and carried Lion downstairs.
At the age of seven, Lion's mother began to teach her the arts of healing... in secret. Lion was a quick learner, and soon knew many remedies.
At exactly nine years of age, Lion's mother was murdered by an unknown enemy. Lion has been... different.. ever since. She is now raised by her father with her older brother.
When Lion was fourteen, she caught a small mouse and kept him in a large box under her bed. She fed him crumbs of bread from the ground near the bakers. She was forced to kill the mouse when things got bad..really bad, for her family. They then ate the mouse. Lion is still very angry over it, but in the end, it's just a mouse...
Codeword: What codeword? Totally confused...
Role play Sample:
Lion felt her hands tremble with the cold of the Winter. Her eyes darted back and forth nervously, hoping no-one would see her. She closed her eyes for a brief moment as a snowflake drifted past her dull, grey, eyes. The thin fabric hung over her shoulders gave her no warmth, but it was all her family could afford. The scent of rotting meat swept over her nose as she spotted a dead cow laying nearby.
With her father so ill, she had to find some way of food. Lion bent down beside the limp, cold shape of the cow. She reached out a hand to touch it. It was frozen, and too big to carry back. It was no use at all. Lion stared, disappointed, at the blade she held in her hand. She buried it in the snow, beside the cow. Blindly, she stumbled away down the street.
Her heart was heavy as a stone, and her hair was now frosted with small flakes. She felt numb as she approached her house, no food in her hands for the second time that week. She had tried her best.. hadn't she? Only then did she realize that she had left the knife behind. Her mind had been so numb with grief as she buried it, she had not remembered that she needed it.
(I hope that's OK. o3o)
