Appearance:

Adli stands a mere 5 feet and 4 inches in height. A lightweight, she weighs just over 100 pounds (probably somewhere around 105). Unsurprisingly, Adli isn’t very strong, and despite being very thin, she has a severe lack of muscle tone or strength. However, her legs are long in proportion to the rest of her body, and consequently, she is a very fast runner. Similar to a gazelle, she is light but sure-footed in her steps. Her body does have gentle curves, in bust and hips, but they are nothing particularly voluptuous or attention grabbing. Not particularly the most stylishly inclined girl of her age, Adli is a somewhat casual dresser—usually choosing comfort over flashiness— and normally wears loose fitting cargo pants pants (hand-me-downs from her brother) worn at her hips, paired with a slim fitted shirt. Adli’s hair often leads people to the premature conclusion that her temper matches her fiery red locks. Normally Adli’s hair (which has a gentle, natural wave to it) is kept pulled back in a loose ponytail.

Her pasty white skin is freckled with angel kisses. These freckles were very endearing when she was a young girl, but now that she is entering her late teens, they are far too childish for the now mature young woman’s tastes. Coupling this overtly childlike persona are her full cheeks, and large doe eyes: which people mention she inherited from her mother. These orbs are a steel grey, and are often too expressive, always expressing her inner thoughts. The young woman has a strong jaw line, and her almost cleft chin is actually a scar from childhood, and is something that the teen is very self-conscious over. The girl has fairly full lips that are naturally a pale pink. Adli’s smile is rather infectious, and is one of her most striking features.

Personality:

Adli is generally a very quiet individual. Rarely does she talk without being spoken to (unless she is either in a very social mood or she is very close to the person she is conversing with). Similarly, she tends to premeditate on most the things she says. She has learned to do such a thing because whenever she talks without thinking, it tends to serve her nothing but harm, usually it ends in her offending somebody. When the teen does talk, it’s usually in a meek, pianissimo level voice, which doesn’t carry, and is easily drowned out by the gentlest of breezes. However, this does not particularly mean that Adli is shy: rather she is merely an introverted person. She chooses not to associate with a lot of people, not because she is afraid to, but rather she prefers to be by herself, or at least with a very small, exclusive group of people.

She doesn’t do well with confrontation, and has a hard time saying “no” to others. This could be a reason why she is so introverted: the less people that she is close with, the less people she can’t say no to… It is also very hard for Adli to lie to people. While she can generally give a good vocal performance, her eyes have not mastered the art of deception. When she tries to tell a lie, her visage often look pained, and she has a difficult time keeping eye contact.

This young woman is truly selfless, and this can be a downfall for her: she often gives too much of herself to make others happy, this is derived off of a codependency that she gained at a very young age. Generally, the teen is an accurate judge of character, and while Adli understands that not all people are “good” she still feels obligated to give individuals the “benefit of the doubt” until they do something to give her solid proof to truly think ill of them. This can often lead her into turmoil. A genuinely caring person, Adli cannot stand to see others suffer (even if they have wronged her.) Her dream profession is to work in the medical field- to cure illnesses, relive pains and most importantly to save lives.

One of Adli’s strengths is that she is very intelligent, and also very resourceful. She learns and retains information quickly. She also tends to be critical of obtained information, often trying to view ‘facts’ from multiple sides, in an attempt to better understand it. It isn’t until she fully understands something that she accepts it as fact, and as such she tends to carefully weigh all potential options before making decisions on things. Even though this is her thinking process, Adli is careful not to vocalize alternatives in situations that it can get her in trouble: for example during school, listens to lectures and answers in the way that she knows is expected, not in her true feelings. In this sense, she knows how to play her part in school and the community in order to maintain peace and harmony.
