Appearance:

Some would say Blossom is pretty, others would simply say she 'has a certain quality'.
She is very skinny, with pale skin that burns easily. Her hair is short, sort of curly, and a reddish brown colour that looks odd in any other light but sunlight. She is average height for a girl of fifteen, perhaps on the shorter side of average. Her eyes are unusually large for her small pointed face, and are light brown with hazel. Blossom's legs are long in comparison with her body, making her look oddly disproportial. Her skin is relatively unscathed, apart from a scars she aquired while weaving and a small scar on her neck she no longer remembers how she got.

Personality:

Blossom is sensitive, and caring, like her mother. She can never hold a grudge, but if she doesn't like someone, she never will. She lets her emotions show much too easily, making her appear weak, when in fact she can be very strong-willed. She trusts easily and bores easily.

History:

Blossom grew up in District 8 with an older brother and two younger brothers. Her mother is a weaver as she will become, and her father has a flock of sheep, although both her parents wish they could open a shop. Most of the time they have enough to eat; starvation has never been much of a worry. Blossom loves her parents fiercely, and her brothers also. The eldest is very protective of her and the other two, who are twins. She spent her childhood running about in fields with her brother, drawing and dancing and being happy. Blossom's thinness is down to her liking for running. The playfulness of races in the fields as a child rooted deep inside her, and she has never stopped. She has a small family, only one grandparent is alive, her mothers father, and she has an aunt and uncle left, although her other uncle died of a heart problem. As a result, one of his daughters was adopted into their home by Blossom's caring mother. Blossom never liked the girl, who is a year younger than Blossom. Blossom has two close friends, Alissa and Jade, who she is very attached to.
