The first thing the light green eyes appeared on, as they opened for the first time that morning, was the alarm. It was way past when Madison set it to go off, and she was now running late for class. The night previous kept her up trapped in her thoughts, if she could remember straight Madison believed her eyes closed for the last time at sunrise. Long nights often resulted in Madison turning her alarm off without even awakening. With still only a few hours of sleep energizing her, she slumped up really not wanting to go to school. Still she hadn't gone all week, and her parents were beginning to get upset. At least today would only be a half day on account she was running late.
Still the time didn't make Madison rush, unable to care less about whether she did the right thing. Slipping on a tight white skirt that reached about mid-thigh, Madison tugged it up a little to be shorter. A long-sleeved, black O-necked shirt covered her top, the neck line low, and the cuffs of the sleeves being tight and secure, with the rest loose, just how Madison liked it. Madison could hear her mother still home, and began to speed it up a little just to prevent getting yelled at. Make-up was important though, so in exchange Madison threw her hair up into a messy bun.
Grabbing her bag she set off to school, being very sneaky through the halls of the mansion, not wanting to pump into her mother. Madison's family were one of the wealthier one's in the district, so there giant house wasn't too far from the school. Wondering how it must be to be poor, Madison strolled to school. The poor families seemed closer, more bounded and connected it. There was such a big separation between the two classes, with not much in the middle. One thing Madison knew for sure was most rich parents didn't spend much time with there children, often leaving it to a nanny.
Madison attempted to slip into her class with out being noticed. The class consisting of the almost-graduating students, sixteen and seventeen mostly. The teacher wasn't to pleased to see Madison walk in late. "What's your excuse this time young lady?" The teacher addressed to Madison.
Madison looked up, tapping her chin, and smirking, gesturing that she was thinking, as she walked over to her seat. "Um. A rebellion happened!" Madison exclaimed, throwing her bag on her desk for dramatic effects.
"Such a talk is prohibited Madison!" The teacher scolded, as Madison toke her seat. "Do you even know what today is?" The teacher was growing angry. "Friday! And this is your first day of showing up this week!"
A small shrug and smile came from Madison for a response. "Opps. I thought it was tuesday."
"Out!" The teacher screamed pointing to the door. Madison rolled her hazel eyes before exiting the classroom. She figured she at least attempted to go to school. Walking down the hall she tried to think of what could possibly now fill her day.
