Curse Jinx
Abandon entoure d’abandon
tendresse touchant aux tendresses
C'est ton intérieur qui sans cesse
se caresse, dirait-on
Curse can't stand being the house. Not when Learna's alliance betraying her and killing her. And to have them act like they were euthanizing her; it's despicable and cruel. She's a freaking Libertine for Pete's sake! They can at least give her a chance before making her parents bury another daughter! The thoughts reeling in Curse's head are driving him crazy; so he simply leaves. Well more like slamming the door in everyone's face as they race towards him. We're a “Career District” and 4 hasn't won in what eight year? Pathetic. He thinks to himself as he is running through the District. Past the rows of fine houses and down towards the Square. He doesn't even stop to look at the candies that he usually buys for the younger siblings. Curse doesn't know why his anger over a tribute death is this high. It's almost a rage which is something you don't see Curse with. He just knows that it's extremely upset. As he passes the lower part of District 4 with it's shacks and the Community Home he finally makes it to his destination. Curse stops as he looks at the fence on the beach.
It's no small feat running all the way to the border so he stops to catch his breath. How did I get here, he wonders as Curse looks around at his surroundings. He hasn't been down in this part for a while, almost never actually. Since it's a remote part of the District. You don't have to see the fence as you can hear the electrical current buzzing through the wires. It's almost like a swarm of bees about ready to attack you. There aren't many buildings around, maybe a life guard’s tower here and there and a shack for them to put their supplies. As it's well into the afternoon there's no one on watch. The sun hangs low into the sky casting some lighter hues of orange into the azure skies. Just beyond the fence you can see the forest with some mixed plains expand into the horizon.
“Well I'm here so I might as well take a swim.” Curse mutters to himself as he pulls his shirt and shoes off. He leaves them in the soft cool sand as he dives into the salty ocean. The ocean is a stark contrast to the sand, warm and gritty as it undulates around him. Abandon entoure d’abandon

He swims with the current to the shack, as it seems only logical for them to have a towel. Curse isn't one to wear wet clothes home, or none at all sometimes, but he isn't in the care free mood at the moment. He trudges through the waves as they break at the shore line and makes his way to the shack. Sand was coating his feet as they strut by, making their way to his ankles. It's gritty against the hair on his legs. The sand is warmer he notices as he pulls up to the shack. He sees that it's a soft fading baby blue as he pulls the door open. Curse grabs the first towel he sees off a shelf and wipes himself off. The sand he'll deal with when he gets home. He turns back to see the Mayor swimming his direction. He never had an actual conversation with the aging Career, though he still holds the mile record in swimming. And he can still swim Curse says to himself. Maybe this is one of the only places he can get some privacy, he wondered as he jogs towards his shirt and shoes. But he notices something else as well. A kid standing at the fence from the outside. Seeing the Mayor and a Wanderer in the same day District 4 loses their female tribute. Can't this day get any weirder? Curse inquires of himself as he shakes his short blond head. That's when the Mayor pulled up. Unsure of what to do or say he simply addresses them both by saying “Hello sir”
Abandon surrounding abandon
tenderness touching tenderness
You oneness endlessly
Caresses itself, so they say
(Sorry for the weird sizing I have no idea what's going on)
