Does, Thinks, Says, Hears
All the rowboats in the paintings
They keep trying to row away
And the captains’ worried faces
Stay contorted and staring at the waves
They’ll keep hanging in their gold frames
For forever, forever and a day
All the rowboats in the oil paintings
They keep trying to row away, row away
They keep trying to row away
And the captains’ worried faces
Stay contorted and staring at the waves
They’ll keep hanging in their gold frames
For forever, forever and a day
All the rowboats in the oil paintings
They keep trying to row away, row away
Bloodbath. Bloodbath. Bloodbath. That's all Jay can think about. The bloodbath was starting today. His brother would be on TV and he would be watching and hoping that his brother would make it. He hoped. No He knew that his brother was going to make it. Jay may have not made it, but he knows that Mason is ready. He has been training harder than Jay. He just knew that his brother could make it. It was the Krearns destiny to win. Mason was going to make that dream a reality. He just knew it.
Jay watched nervously. The clock had been going. Mason stood there looking confident. Then it begun. Tributes were slashing at each other with weapons and fists, but Mason stayed put. What was he doing. Jay shook nervously. Mason needed to move. He needed to hurry up. Jay was getting frustrated. He began to grab at his hair. Then he saw it. mason began to move. He attacked that vicious girl, after her and her alliance attacked him. Jay smiled happily. Mason was good, he could handle himself. Jay then watched as Mason's alliance began to attack the girl. Then they all began to fight. Jay begun to scream happily,
Yes! Mason I know you can do it! Kill that pathetic worthless career girl!
Then he watched closely. The career girl had got Theseus, one of Mason's alliance members. Great. Mason had lost someone. Mason still continued to attack and so did the others. Then he saw the boy from District 1. The boy had blonde hair and a very toned face. Jay had to admit, if there was boy like that in District 4, he would have had to try not to kiss the guy to death. He chuckled, but then the blondie had attacked Mason. They all were now. Jay shook violently, scared his brother wouldn't make it. This blondie was a monster. Just like Julian, who Mason had meet actually. Blondie then hit Mason right on top of the head. Mason's eyes showed something, it looked like something that Jay had only seen once before, it was sadness. His brother was sad for leaving Jay now. Jay felt like his heart had been torn out. Jay began to hear voices.
Jay. Why? Why did you let Mason go? Mason is dead now, just like me. You're dead to me. You killed both of us. You're dead.
Jay shrieked in terror, was he going insane now? Wait? He already was insane. He killed his older brothers, he was a monster. A mutt that should belong in the arena. He would be able to do what he is supposed to there. He would be able to die and go with his family. He was alone. Alone forever. He lost his loved ones. Two of them because of himself. He was a mutt that ruined his family.
Jay? Jay? Where am I? I'm lost Jay. Help me. HELP ME! HELP ME! Jay/ Where am I? Help me! Help me!
Jay began to cry. The tears poured down his cheek. Mason was lost. Lost forever. Jay was now furious. He brought his attention to the blondie on the screen. It was his fault! His fault. Blondie should have died, not Mason! Blondie should have been the one with the crushed skull. Then he watched as Guy got killed by Phyllis the worthless girl. Jay watched as Navy, The Opera Bitch ran. Jay began to speak angrily.
Blondie! You killed him! You killed my brother! You... You Fucker! You deserve to be the one smashed. Not my brother. Then you The Opera Bitch! You should have protected Mason. You should have protected him! You should have killed that guy. Bitch, I hate you, but your all I have left of my family. Please survive. Please make it..."
Jay began to cry. His eyes watered and his body shook with fear and sadness. He grabbed a chair that sat in the dining room. He threw it angrily and sadly. It smashed against the wall and busted. He grabbed a pot that sat on the middle of the dining table. Three daisies sat in the pot. Mason had got those daisies the day before he left. Jay cried harder and threw the vase at the wall. it shattered and the glass flew everywhere. the daisies were shredded. Jay was going insane. The daisies had blood pouring out of them like Mason's head. Jay stood up and squashed the daisies. He picked them up and threw them in the garbage. Jay sat down and cried softly.
You're dead. Dead. Dead. D-E-A-D. You're dead to me Jay. I hate you! and I will forever. I gave you one simply task, to protect Mason and you failed to even do that. You're dead!
I'm sorry Davy. I'm sorry! I'm sorry mom. I'm sorry dad. I'm sorry Mason. I'm sorry. This wasn't supposed to happen. This is my fault.... I am a mutt. I am sorry!
Jay cried harder. He failed everyone he loved. He was a mutt. He didn't belong in this world. There was no reason for him to. Jay cried. He couldn't reach the rowboats. The paintings of the past were floating by. Their memories were forever coughing in glass cases. Mason, Davy, his mom, his dad, they all had forgotten how to sing. They all had rowed away without him.
See you Jay. I'll see you soon. My boat is rowing away. Jay I'll see you again. This is the time for me. Enjoy life buddy, it doesn't last forever. my rowboats sailing away. I love you jay. Don't forget that!
Jay cried again. Mason had rowed away. He is gone forever. Jay frowned. Why couldn't Mason stay? Jay needed him, but it was too late. Mason was gone on his rowboat out in the sea. He would never forget the last words Mason said to him.
Jay, whatever happens out there remember one thing. I will aways love you and be there for you. Through thick an thin...
Jay went outside and laid down in the grass. He stared at the stars. Mason was forever a star. Mason was one of those stars watching over him. He knew Mason would be watching. He boat didn't row out to sea, instead it sailed out to the sky. Mason was a star. And with that, Jay fell asleep remembering the good times with Mason and Davy. They were both at peace and eventually Jay would be at peace too. He just had to keep living life to the fullest. He was still a mutt in his mind, but one day maybe that mutt will relax. Jay slowly, but surely fell asleep and that night. He had no nightmares, no dreams, but a new awakening.
Jay watched nervously. The clock had been going. Mason stood there looking confident. Then it begun. Tributes were slashing at each other with weapons and fists, but Mason stayed put. Hear them whispering French and German
Dutch, Italian, and Latin
When no one’s looking I touch a sculpture
Marble, cold and soft as satin
But the most special are the most lonely
God, I pity the violins
In glass coffins they keep coughing
They’ve forgotten, forgotten how to sing, how to sing

There’s a price to pay and a consequence
All the galleries, the museums
Here’s your ticket, welcome to the tombs
They’re just public mausoleums
The living dead fill every room
