Break. Thank Ripred. This is the worst job in the entire hospital, and yet my parents still think I'll get something out of it. I thought I'd be dealing with numbers and science and human biology, but no, all I get to do is watch the patients, do this, do that, write a few notes on paper. I take off my coat and leave it the first table I see, putting my clipboard atop it. Then, I escape.

Walking straight through the waiting area, I make my way to the door. As I open it, I manage to walk straight into some girl with flowing blond hair. When I look at her, immediate recognition. "You again?" I snarl, rolling my eyes. "What are you doing here?" All I can remember is that she was a total bitch last time I saw her. I mean, look at that blond hair, that tall figure--it just gives that fact away. Plain fact. Plain sight.

Straight up, this is boring as hell. I hate going to the hospital, I mean, why not go to the Capitol? Oh, that's right, the games ended. No wonder I'm sick, or rather homesick. I miss being able to go out in the Capitol, people, for some reason, don't notice my exploits there. Or maybe I'm sick with something that I contracted in the Capitol? I don't know, I probably should've went to my mother about it first, but then she'd ask all the questions.

Then I run into someone. Oh, this bitch again, "Oh, hi! You got in my way, and I really don't like it when lesser folk get in my way. Cause, you know, victor's daughter here. You aren't on my level."

Victor's daughter? I snicker, but really, I just want to punch this girl in the face. I really really do. "So I guess you've come here to get a bruise of yours healed? Aw, that's just terrible." I make myself mockingly sincere. "Now where's that bruise? Maybe I can help. I mean, my parents are doctors, you know." I look at her for a few moments--ugh, her perfect skin just makes me roll my eyes--but don't give her any time to speak before moving on to my next sentence. "Oh, you don't have a bruise? Here, let me give you one." I kick her in the shins. Hard. I don't even care who sees; I don't even care if my parents come out screaming at me. This bitch deserves everything she's getting.

Ow! I stumble backwards as she hits me in the face, an angry look on my face. But it's not enough to break me; the hit isn't quite hard enough. So dependent on her mommy. My mommy's a victor! I can do anything I want!--oh please. She'll just be the next one to die when the games come around. Everyone knows those reapings are rigged, and having the daughter of a past victor is a perfect test of strength. "Oh and I suppose your mommy ties your shoes too? Aw, if you sit down, I can teach you." With every inch of my strength, I push the girl to the ground and spit on her. "Victor's daughter? Where's your crown?"

Oh, she had better be joking around. I do actually, have a bunch of crowns. Nobody should ever doubt that. I have a gold one, one that is totally made out of diamonds. The Capitolites just live me in those crowns, they die a little on the inside. They see me and they shout and awe, much like I'm a victor. They just love me so much.

"Actually, my crowns are back at my apartment in the Capitol. You know, that big, lovely, amazing place? You ever been? Oh right, nope. You're just a little peasant, I don't even know why I bother wasting my time on you. You're just a little nobody." I try to get by her and walk into the hospital, but she pushes me. What an asshole.
