Valeria Caden is a relatively imposing figure, especially for a woman. At nearly six feet tall and roughly one hundred and fifty pounds she's a bit larger than the average woman with a very athletic and slightly muscular build.Personality:
Outside of her impressive stature, Val is actually quite attractive. With dark hair, dark eyes and tan skin, Val really is beautiful.
Having spent time in both the Capitol as well as District Two, Val has seen and even been forced into some pretty ridiculous outfits. While not all have been complete aesthetically displeasing or even uncomfortable, Val much prefers the the more normal attire she generally wears in District Two.
Arrogant, Val is really quite full of herself and it's not difficult to tell. In her mind, she should have been a tribute and eventual victor, unfortunately for her things didn't' quite work out that way. Additionally, her physical gifts do nothing to deter these thoughts.History:
Although she's pretty self centered, Val is capable of being a very loving and caring person. While much of what she does is aimed at bettering herself, it isn't uncommon for her to think of the ones she's closest with.
Despite some of her less favorable character traits, Val really is easy to get along with. If one can look over her selfishness, they can find a truly fun loving individual who's always ready to laugh and joke - if not a bit sarcastically.
As most tributes from Districts One Two and Four are, Val was trained from a very young age. She was especially gifted with and excelled in hand to hand combat, including a variety of martial arts. Val spent nearly her entire first eighteen years of life thinking of being crowned a victor.Codeword:
Naturally, this wasn't just her dream but the dream of parents as well. While her childhood wasn't exactly the most loving one might expect, things were always okay. She never hungered and always had everything she needed. Such was her life in District Two - eat train sleep.
Unfortunately she was not chosen despite attempting to volunteer as tribute. With her life's goal ripped out of reach, Val was eventually summoned to the Capitol to become a trainer for the Games. Here Val trains tributes in hand to hand combat as they ready themselves for the Games. During the offseasons, Val remains in District Two training her home district's eventual tributes.
While Val has never really had to face any real hardship in her life she has become slightly disenchanted with the Capitol - not that she'd ever say anything. Still, the bitterness at having been passed over combined with seeing so many die has not helped. Part of her still feels that to win the games is a huge honor, but part of her also realizes that to die in them is far less glorious.
