I'm just somebody with a round face, like the glowing moon at midnight. Plump, full lips that bruise and swell easily. My knobby knees are made to kneel on the earth before my superiors, not to carry me to heights unknown. Beneath this pretty face and dark, untameable hair, with teal highlights, there is a monster.
I'm complimented for my great looks, and my flexible stature. But I see nothing to behold. Not even my smoldering gray eyes."

Though from afar, she seems like a delicate flower, Elsie is a beast ready to be unleashed. She specializes in gymnastics and contortion, wanting to exert herself to the extreme. Elsie also enjoys interpretive dance, and performs as many flips and tricks as possible. As a resident of District Two and a member of the training academy, she has developed some worthy skills in defending herself. She is a fan of swordfighting in particular, as it is a lethal weapon that deals a good amound of damage. She tends to change her look a lot to keep her identity fresh.

I grew up with seven siblings; five older, two younger. My parents were immersed in the Games, and naturally they dwelled on me to represent the family, since my older siblings lost their chance, and my younger sisters were too young. So I trained, and I trained hard. They tried to mold me like one of the girls in the neighborhood; she's actually in the Games right now. Cricket, I think?

With her entire family depending on her, she desperately tried to impress her patronising family members. She took gymnastic lessons at the academy, and she learned a bit of contortion from some professional performers. Elsie took dance lessons around this time as well, knowing this could improve her flexibility and her chances of winning the games, if she were to ever be chosen. After a year of practice and studies, her youngest sister died due to pneumonia. The blame was shoved upon Elsie, and she was scolded, if you would've volunteered and won you could've gotten us out of this trash heap. The hatred and condescending built on Elsie, turning her into an equally as disgusting monster. She strives to impress everyone she meets, and she knows she has no room for mistakes.
