Marcus is a 6"3' tall, broad, strong male who has dirty blonde, medium length hair witch gets darker in the summer and lighter in the winter. He weighs 172 lbs. He has a good build from all the wood chopping and running around, and can carry up to 350 lbs. maximum. Because he works in the forest, he can get very dirty, and look like he's turned black or dark-skinned.Personality:
In the summer, he has a good tan. But, during the winter, he gets to be one of the palest people in district 7 (he believes it's part of his genetics). His eyes are storm cloud grey, with golden specs in them. He also has big hands and feet from climbing and cutting trees. Another thing he has are big calf muscles, biceps and triceps from the same thing, which makes him slightly feared by others.
Marcus is a very happy, nice, and smart guy, unless he doesn't know you. If he doesn't know someone, he won't help them at all, no matter what. His few friends that he does have respect him, partially because of fear, partially because of his kindness to them. One thing Marcus and his friends do together are crafting, using leftover scraps of wood; and pulling pranks on everyone else, mostly because they have nothing else to do.History:
He can run for a very long time because his boss has him moving from one work area to another, and Marcus has to be quick on his feet. Marcus can also climb trees really well since he has to get to the top of the trees because the branches up there are generally the best ones. His upper body is also very good. Since he has to cut down the trees and branches and carry them to the mills, he can easily carry 250 lbs. He can also be very sneaky, since he had to avoid his dad's rages. The last one is he is a great liar.
Marcus also has some weaknesses. He doesn't know how to swim, since there were no bodies of water anywhere near where he lived. He stinks at making friends because of trust issues. He also isn't a people pleasure all the time. Marcus likes to annoy people, which won't always help him. He is also a little bit clumsy.
Marcus grew up in a small family, with his father, mother and older sister. He went to school his whole life, but didn't go often. He had to work in the forests cutting down trees to help pay for food and other necessities. But when he was 9, his mother died in a lumber mill accident. Following that incident, his father turned into an abusive one. He would have random fits of rage, and whoever got in his way would be seriously injured. In one of his rages, he hit his daughter in the back, causing her to be paralyzed below the waist. Because of that, he and his sister moved to his friend’s house.Codeword: odair
When he was 11, another tragedy happened. His best friend was killed by a falling tree. Marcus was devastated. He made a pledge to himself to protect his sister, no matter what the cost.
His father finally stopped with the rage fits when Marcus was 13, but he and his sister didn't come back until a month later (because of trust issues). When they returned, Mr. Fletcher vowed never again to do what he did ever again, for the sake of everyone. Now, Marcus is back to school and working; his sister can only go to school since she can't do as much as she used to; and their father works double shifts to try to help pay for the costs of everything he broke.
