Juniper Frost
White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men

Cold slapped my face as I lay on the cold ground beside my house. The sky above was like a blanket of snow, beautiful but unhelpful. I longed for my parents, but they were somewhere far away, taken away from my siblings and I by those wicked capitol people. I looked up to see if I could maybe see the angels of above but for some reason, it seamed like it was too cold outside for them to fly. I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes and rolled over, burrying my face in the ground. I let the tears fall, tears I'd been holding back for so long. I just couldn't take it anymore. I was tired of trying to be strong and put on a brave face. My twin, Cyprus, didn't have to deal with this, she was lucky because she was oblivious. I worked hard to keep it that way. She was too fragile to deal with what was going on now. I let the tears fall fast and hard, soaking the ground beneath me. Why? I thought as I sobbed softly.[/blockquote]
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries

A few hours later, the tears finally stopped. I sat up from the ground, my body freezing from the cold earth, and blew my nose with some kleenex I had in my pocket. I stood up slowly, knowing that at times, I felt dizzy if I stood up too fast and tried to warm myself up. I was freezing cold, goosebumps ran up and down my arms. I looked around to see if there was anyone around and spotted someone walking towards me, probably noticing that I was lying on the ground. "Hello?" I called.[/blockquote]
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
Cause we're just under the upper hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
Or sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly
