They were responsible for the crafting of nature's wild beauty, from the arrangement and growth of the plants, flowers and trees, to the nurture of wild birds and animals, and the formation of rocky caverns, springs, wetlands and brooks.”

There are children beyond the streets of District Eleven - tucked away behind the orchards and far beyond the fields.

[/i][/color] Six sisters were raised by the wild beauty of nature, ignoring the rules that said they must remain in the center of the district. Craving freedom, they wandered to the edge of their homeland. There, they felt closer to the forbidden wilderness that beckoned. Each day after sun fall, when the long working hours finally fade into rest, they return to their home. Their secret holds them together and keeps them close – in time, the lilting song of nature has made them it’s own.[/i][/color]

Imelda Elwyn [reserved for Tristen] Eighteen[/color]
Imelda is an extremely ambitious child, she enjoy's sitting around and coming up with a new plan every single day. Most of the time these plans consist of ways to go somewhere and be someone that no one will ever forget. She'll confidently stride around the district, comfortable in her self-confidence and ability to stand out. She is convinced that she needs to go high -literally. She hates being stuck on the ground, she feels as though the air is too clogged up and toxic. Her ambition drives her to go higher as well as her need for the fresher and thinner air that is found in the highest points of the district. Her body wants her to climb -this is caused by her lungs and their need to breathe that thinner air. She is convinced that in order to breath and live she needs to be powerful and above everyone else.

Hester Elwyn [reserved for Arx] Seventeen
Hester is a strange child. Struck by a diesease similar to Alzheimer's she forgets everything and continually thinks she is from district four. She feels as though the sea is calling her, that her birth place and home -district four is where she is meant to be. You will often find her yelling in the streets of district eleven, calling for her ocean, calling for the sea and her salty water. She will often forget her own name and those of her sisters. Although she will never forget that they are her sisters. Twin sister to Arletta, she always tries to push her and insist that she is from the sea. She is obsessed with swimming, even though she has never left the district, or even swam for that matter.

Arletta Elwyn [reserved for Cass] Seventeen[/color]
Arletta is determined to believe that she can breath underwater. Even after a large number of attempts -with most ending with her almost drowning herself she still believes that one day -hopefully soon, that the water will fill her lungs and she will breath. When she isn't attempting to drown herself she will always stay close to any source of water, loving its silky feel and its general comfort that it brings her. A small pond lays not to far from where they live and Arletta is the only one who knows about it, stubbornly she has never told her water crazed twin, wanting the water to envelope her body and hers alone.

Orianna Elywn [reserved for Clover] Sixteen[/color]
Orianna loves to climb, she will climb anything and everything. She fears the day when her feet will have to touch the ground and will keep off of it as much as she can. Her hands are rough and scared, but her spirit is bright and cheerful. You can hear her giggles echoing through the district as she flips and spins from tree limb to tree limb. She is an expert climber and very cheeky, a sparkle always flickering in her eyes. Orianna is a girl that everyone loves to be around and her passion for freedom and the wilderness only spurs her on and gives her that little rebellious touch. She is fast and light on her feet, thinner and more agile then most people she will go on forever.

Ingrid Elywn [reserved for Python] Fifteen
Ingrid like her twin elder sisters love the water, but her views of it are far more ominous and sinister. She dreams upon the day that the world will be flooded and everyone will drown. Their lungs bursting, their mouths filling and slowly slowly their screams echoing in the long caverns of water. She isn't afraid to die and will willingly welcome up with open arms -just one catch. She has to drown. She will not die any other way. Even her dreams are tormented by those that have drowned, but she never seems to mind and more often then not she will fabricate the existence of a drowned ghost to keep herself entertained.

Mabel Elwyn [reserved for Semper] Fourteen[/color]
She has the green thumb, easy going and laid back Mabel knows how to work plants. She has a special ability to grow anything anywhere. However, she hates enclosed spaces. She prefers open meadows where she can see for leagues upon leagues in every direction. Even the slightest hint of a small spot she will grow pale and shrink away, forcefully putting her feet down and refusing to take another step. To her there is nothing better then an open meadow, fields with plenty of space for her to grow and nurture her plants.

PLOT IDEAS: Water is salvation. It is the means by which any sinner deserves to die (painfully, lungs seizing and lurching for air), for their souls will be cleansed and that is how they will move on to the afterlife - a land below the oceans, an Atlantis-wonderland where mermaids conquer and grace the creatures with their unmistakable beauty. That is what Ingrid wants to be, a mermaid, the water's angels. To be killed by something other than the purest waters is to die weak, to die without having sinned (sin is a wonderful thing, Ingrid thinks. It will attract the waters to purify her wicked spirit) and to dine the Hell below the ocean's floor where fire - the worst enemy, the biggest rival, a dangerous and disgusting element - licks and scorches the flesh. That's why everybody sins, because they know they will be cleaned and forgiven. That is why everybody on the planet deserves to drown in a storms of floods and rushing water. It's never a pleasant death; they always scream, their chest always burns, those are the sins being washed away, sweet heart, just let it happen. She relishes the idea of watching them suffer, knowing why and how they had found this pain (we're all the same). She dreams of one day joining them and finding peace.

They find her in the middle of the night - the drowned ghosts, the spirits of the depths speaking to her, telling stories of the terrible pain and the salvation afterwards. It is her fate to drown, she will not be killed by any other means. Doing so would mean an eternity of Hell. Those who die by each other's hands? They are defying fate, committing the ultimate taboo. Instead of suffering the water bursting from their lungs, they will suffer eternally in a coffin enveloped in flames.

She will enjoy the thought of their torture as well.

REASONS WHY: I really like playing messed up characters I can see Hester initially fighting back from her disease and trying to hold onto reality for as long as possible. The practicality of her life inside the district would appeal to her but the strong hold of her false memories will be too gripping. I just really like getting inside characters heads who struggle with this sort of thing and try to push them to hold onto their sanity, all the while playing the devil's advocate and exposing them to more of their fear and their issues. It's just really fun for me.
CHARACTER'S POTENTIAL FC: LOL I'll get back to you.
PLOT IDEAS: Hester would start off somewhat normal, with somewhat of a firm grasp on herself and her surroundings, but the hallucinations of another's life in District Four will slowly creep into her and change her from the inside out. She will start to act strange and would tell funny things to her sisters - tales of the old sea and of mighty battles fought upon crisp shores. These stories of sorts would fascinate Hester, but things going south wouldn't become obvious until she starts to escape her sisters and wander into town where she would talk to strangers as if she was a lone-sea widow whose husband had died on a sail to the Capitol (not that she understood what she was talking about of course, because one doesn't generally sail to the Capitol). She would reminisce to little kids about her childhood spent on the beaches or the days she spent fishing. These odd behaviors (which would just get worse and worse over time) would cause her to get into all sorts of trouble those who seek the weak transcend on her like lions in an attempt to devour her innocence and ruin her soul. It'd be difficult for her to understand what was going on, but there would always be the part, deep within her, that desired to be free from the grip this false reality had upon her, and when that part came out - oh boy you did not want to be around her.

REASONS WHY: The beauty in Ingrid's perspective on the world is captivating, the way that she throws herself into deadly thoughts, voices and screams muffled by the dripping of water, slowly sealing their lungs and gradually driving their vision into all darkness and eternity. In other words, Ingrid is just perfect in such a flawed way <3

CHARACTER'S POTENTIAL FC: this angry little bby <3

PLOT IDEAS: "I can't wait until the day the water takes me, sinks me to the bottom with hardly a sound, slowly taking the life from me, possessing me as though I am host to a powerful demon. I will enjoy it though, savor every second of it. Of course, before I go everyone else will fall in the same way as I, they must."

The waves are reminders of fate, destiny and what it surely going to come for everyone. And even though they eventually hit the shore, another one always returns in its place, a never-ending cycle of notes and messages, hidden to the world. All except Ingrid, unlike the rest, she doesn't claim to be afraid of decoding the cryptic messages the waves give to her.

And while she speaks in this manner, she is actually afraid of many things, things that can't be explained. Some call them irrational fears; Ingrid calls them "blocks". To her, every fear has a reason, even if it cannot be figured out at the moment; every feeling is triggered by something, even if you cannot trace it to anything. And yet while she is scared of much, nothing scares her more than the water. That's why she is so drawn to it, by its power and absolute beauty over everything in the entire world. The vastness of it and the clarity it possesses, the water has made her believe that there is a higher power in the world; it has cut her beliefs into straight guidelines that she trusts.

To Ingrid, the water is essentially "God". And if you are consumed by it, you get a second chance, you were perfect and therefore, you are a child of the silver-crested waves. Perfection can be caught by diving deep into the depths of the water and never coming out again. In the morning, she swears the ghosts dance around the water, a happy sort of prancing that renounces their enjoyment for being pulled under the waves, hands outstretched as if to say goodbye, as if to welcome perfection as their limp bodies were dragged to the rocky bottom.

So while it may seem strange, this is exactly what Ingrid believes. And while it may seem sinister, maybe even a small bit morbid, it is all that she believes in. If you wish to, you can turn back now and not talk to her, the duchess of death and the lady of the lake. But if you come back, be careful to look where you walk. Repentance is needed, and strangers aren’t always welcomed by Ingrid.

PLOT IDEAS: She can hear it, she knows she can. No matter that she's hundreds of miles away and seven Districts apart, Hester can hear the ocean even then - a salty-sweet song that has hummed in her ears, taunting and calling to her, for more than a decade. She knows that's where she truly belongs, not among grass and trees and rich, warm soil, but with seawater spilling past her lips and pooling in her lungs and with warm sand between her toes. She doesn't understand why her sisters can't see that. Not even her twin (If only she could remember her name) believes her, but can't she feel it too? They say she's insane. It confuses and frustrates her to the point that any attempt to reason with her - to convince her that she is simply a girl with strange words and even stranger dreams - spins her mind in circles until she can't even remember her own name, because if she is not a true creature of the sea, then what is she?

Without an identity - a name to those crazed and dazed eyes and that unsettling smile - she spends her time wandering about the District, searching for answers to the endless questions that float in half-formed ribbons of thought in her pretty head. "What is my name, stranger, and where is my ocean?" She never receives her answers though, no one bothers to listen to the crazy girl who roams the streets, so she screams. She screams because no one seems to hear her, no one seems to understand, and she'll keep screaming until she feels the salty sea air on her skin and the sand beneath her feet. She'll keep screaming until she's home.

REASONS WHY: let's face it I need another female character she's small and is basically the Green Giant xD

CHARACTER'S POTENTIAL FC: I have an idea of who to look for but I just need to look xD

PLOT IDEAS: Well, I see her as always running around barefoot, saying that it "makes her closer to nature/plants/etc." The soles of her feet are so calloused that she can run anywhere without any shoes, though in the winter she does put some socks on to keep from getting frostbite. She never showers unless forced to and always has either mud or grass in her hair, and her hands are always dirt-covered since she's shoving seeds in the ground everywhere. She loves the orchards and fields, but the city is a huge no-no. She won't step foot anywhere near the city and especially won't step on the asphalt/concrete because "it suffocates my little seedlings and won't let them grow." It's also "unnatural," "not a rock," "man poop," etc etc. She's extremely claustrophobic and being in an enclosed area can very quickly send her into a panic attack.

She likes to put flowers in her hair in in each of her sisters' hair. She doesn't really have a particular favorite one since she loves them all and they're all a part of nature. Actually I could also see her with having a fascination with climbing trees, after Orianna, and since she's small and nimble she can usually reach the top of any one. If the tree has acorns she'd love to just shake all the branches and make them drop so she can collect them. And perhaps she could be fascinated with the idea of swimming, so she asks Hester what it's like to swim (even though Hester's never swam before, but Mabel won't know that) and she's completely astounded by the fact that people don't sink in water like some of her seeds do. But getting in water would also mean bathing and she doesn't like bathing, so maybe she'll be like the dog that sees the chew toy floating in the water but is too hesitant to get in and just keeps backing up, scooting forward, backing up, scooting forward, that kind of thing.

Perhaps she could also be color blind, but as to which colors I'm not sure, I'd have to do research. xD I think it'd be amusing though for Mabel to be like "Isn't this -insert color here- flower so pretty?!" and everyone to be like "Uhhhh Mabel no that's not that color" and it'd freak her out so bad. xD Because she likes to grow things, I can also see her as being a vegetarian and eating whatever she can forage around for or whatever she grows herself. She views the animals almost as people, and to eat one of them would be to commit murder but if you hand her a bowl of soup with little meat chunks and don't tell her it's meat then she won't know the difference since she's never willingly tasted meat

Okay yeah, stupid Mother Gothel references that are actually really pointless, IDEK. Anyways, Imelda is the "Mother" of the group. So, she plans out what she and her sisters will do that day, or just generally nags and bosses them around.

To outsiders, the real weirdos, she is a straight-edged, yet caring elder sister. But to her sisters, she is a tyrant. Willing to do anything to obtain power. She wants to touch the sky, while the mere mortals below her suffocate on the smog-ridden low air and shrivel up.

It's not that she's heartless, she's just a normal ol' temptress. Life is about pleasing yourself, screw the others.
