Appearance: Lissi is small but strong from years of working in the fields growing corn with her family. She is an average 5’5” and twig thin. She may be small, but she is fast and nimble, able to run and dodge through the fields of crops pretty quickly. She is tan from being outside all the time, and nearly always sunburned on her face. Her skin is rough from her years of hard work. She isn't necessarily pretty, she has always just thought of herself as average.

She has long dark brown hair that she hates because it always falls in front of her eyes and is uncontrollable. No matter how hard she works to make her hair lay flat, it just doesn't cooperate. Lissi has blue, almond-shaped eyes that seem far too trusting, and her face is covered with a smattering of light freckles.

Personality: Lissi works in the fields every day with her family to get food. She scorns slackers and lazy people because they have a choice whether to work or not, and she thinks they are choosing wrong to lay around. She never got that choice, to be lazy or to work. It has always been either work or starve. Her family isn't as bad off as they could be, of course, but they still have to work hard just to scrape by.

Lissi is loyal towards her friends and family. She will stick up for her friends if they need it. Lissi may let the teasing slide if it’s someone she doesn’t know very well, though, because even though she has a lot of friends, she is self-conscious and wants people to like her. She doesn’t like going against the crowd, even if the crowd is harassing someone. She has naturally always been a follower.

Lissi is a fast learner, and very resourceful, but she can be clueless sometimes. She is great when it comes to plants and crops and the fields, but when it comes to school, she isn’t the smartest. However, she is pretty good at talking to people and can usually find a friend to help her out.

History: Lissi started working in the fields and growing corn when she was five, doing little jobs like bringing water to the others, hauling the baskets back and forth to carry the corn, and other simple jobs. As she got older, she started learning about different kinds of plants, the edible and inedible, and what their uses are. She has always seemed more interested in the medical uses of plants than if you can eat them or not, though.

Lissi has always wanted to be a doctor, she loves the feeling of helping people who are sick and injured. She has never really been squeamish about that sort of thing ike some people. However, good doctors are hard to come by in district 11, and good doctors who are willing to teach someone else are even harder to find. For now, Lissi has to be content with keeping a book of everything she's learned, and trying to find out as much as she can.
