A.P.P.E.A.R.A.N.C.E.

hair: brown. straight, flat hair is not something a girl wants, thus cyprus hides her plain hair by often wearing it in a ponytail or braids. she doesn't like that the chocolate colored hair upon her hair does not move or flow in the way she wants it to. everything has been tried on her hair, but she always gets that simple look that she isn't actually going for. cyprus' hair falls just passed her shoulders and isn't very thick either, which is good during the hot summers, but not when she tries to look nice as it just falls against her head.

eyes: brown. her eyes are not only almond shaped, but also almond in color. they're very small and give her a sense of innocence because her eyes make her look a lot like a little kid. she tries her best to keep her eyebrows well kept and flutter her long eyelashes to gain attention. often there are bags under her eyes as she gets very little sleep from thinking about if she were to become an avox like her parents.

face: round. there isn't much definition in cyprus' face. it is pretty generic and round with a splash of freckles on each of her cheeks. her lips are small and sweet and her teeth are white and shiny, but they're hidden in her closed mouth because she rarely smiles. having little defining features to her face it makes cyprus blend in causing her to make up for that with her loving personality.

body: little. cyprus is small and lithe, very little meat on her bones. she often feels pressured to be bigger and stronger, but with undernourishment at home and not much time to work out there's no hope in that. her height isn't towering either, around five foot, three inches. everything she grabs for is difficult with tiny arms that don't seem to reach as far as she wants them to. cyprus believes that she will grow, even though the chances of that happening are very unlikely. therefore she doesn't stand much physical chance standing up to anyone, but in spirit she's much larger.

clothing: plain. nothing cyprus wears has more than your average colors of white, brown, gray, or black. she doesn't believe being pretty is necessary and wears little color. her view is that if someone doesn't see her attractive for who she is then they don't even deserve the time of day. that is why she rarely wears anything flattering. cyprus saves that kind of stuff for special occasions, like holidays and birthdays.

P.E.R.S.O.N.A.L.I.T.Y.

positives: loving. while outwardly cyprus doesn't act like she cares about anything in the world, but deep down if anyone were to ever hurt one of her family members, she would flip. she does have a heart even if it is masked by her depression. there are many things she tries to be, but a supportive, wise-decision-making sister is what she is. cyprus only partakes in the one thing she enjoys, school where she can show how intelligent she is through her work rather than her words.

negatives: quiet. no one is there for her anymore and all she does is stay to herself. besides her twin sister she wouldn't be caught saying more than a couple of words to anyone. life is hard for cyprus when many don't understand her, thus she gets labelled an outcast and even if she were trying to make friends she couldn't. most of her life is lived mid-daydream, which isn't a bad thing, but it can often cause distractions in school and sometimes even mid-conversation.

likes: working. there are few things that cyprus truly gets any enjoyment out of these days, but when she does it comes from hard work. nothing would make her feel satisfied if there wasn't an ultimate reward. her reward is self pride because she knows that even if she isn't liked by others she can still like herself. success is felt through what she expects of herself and often when doing projects and other creative things she tries until perfection. while perfection can't be reached it is hard to not strive for it and so she just lets her juices flow until her view of perfection is produced.

dislikes: death. after her parents were taken so easily to be avoxed, there has been one thing that scares her most. losing her own life. cyprus doesn't understand how something so wonderful can be taken away so quickly. she has trouble wrapping her head around this concept and often spends nights crying because she doesn't just can't comprehend why she was chosen to be the one with trouble-making parents?

H.I.S.T.O.R.Y.

baby: loud. as a tiny tyke, nothing stopped cyprus. she was always jabbering on about nonsense and enjoying life like it should be enjoyed. oblivious to the world around her the tiniest of things made her squeal with joy and cause a lot of ruckus. cyprus was the epitome of noise-maker, always clanking stuff together, talking, squealing, anything that made noise she would do.

elementary: sweet. in her school years she was everyone's best friend. there wasn't anyone that got on her bad side nor did she get on anyone else's bad side. cyprus led your generic little kid life, having fun and being the angel her parents expected her to be. she loved to help out and was always volunteering for things, truly personifying an amazing daughter,

preteen: simple. her parents were avoxed just weeks after her eleventh birthday and that was when things went downhill. no more was she this bubbly little kid, instead she just went with the flow and did everything in a very basic manner. cyprus wasn't trying to lose all connections with the outside world, but she couldn't take the sorrow and holed up. she became this unreachable, reclusive girl that people didn't know at all. it was a complete one-eighty from her former personality.

teen: reserved. going through those tough teenage years were tough for her, they still are. cyprus feels alone in the world besides her sister and therefore no one knows who she is. rarely will she even talk to a soul besides family and that is only when she needs something. conversations aren't for fun anymore. because her parents were avoxed, she thinks that she should only talk when necessary in honor of them not being able to talk at all.
