She has an oval shaped face and dark brown eyes that droop ever-so-slightly at the corners. Her nose is wide yet small enough to fit on her small head. Her bottom lip curls out more than the top, evenly proportioned between her chin and nose. Her cheekbones are high, dramatizing her features significantly. Lucette is very much so a beautiful woman, yet she cannot see that when she looks into the cracked mirror at home.

She sees, instead, her short 5' 4" height and her average body size. She does not want to be average. She wants to be beautiful. Lucette is 132 pounds even; she's been keeping track. She wants to lose the weight she has inherited from her parents to become the most beautiful girl in her vast District. Lucette sees herself as ugly and plain. She does not see the real beauty within herself. She thinks her flat nose and lips make her look like a kitty cat; her curled hair like a wild animal; her skin color like gross melted candy on the hot sidewalk. That she will never be beautiful enough for anyone. That she'll always be second best.

Personality:

Lucette has always been very low in self-confidence. She's a second generation teen mom to a wonderful, gurgling son named Ezio Vincente. After her life was turned upside down by her one mistake, she lost all confidence that she was beautiful. Lucette is an artistic girl. She loves to sing and dance at parties with a close group of friends. To have fun. She is poor, but money can only buy so much happiness. She used to love to party and be free, to be funny and laughing and talking the night away. Something that was robbed of her at a young age.

Lucette used to be friendly and loud with her best friends and the same way amplified when around strangers. Yet the glares and snickers when she walked by with her round pregnant belly chipped away at her inner strength. She became teased and pushed into self-loathing. Lucette hates herself. She does not party, nor sing, nor dance. She is not herself anymore. Lucette has broken.

Now, she spends her day in solitude. She cleans obsessively and organizes everything. She's claimed she is just "nesting" for her son, yet he was delivered eight months ago. Lucette shuts those she once loved out, except her parents. She is quiet and thoughtful, meek and shy. She doesn't go outside anymore and would rather lay in bed and sob. Lucette is alone, broken beyond repair. Her own life has crumbled before her eyes. When did it ever get like this?

History:

Lucette Iris Fuentes never had a filter that stopped her before she said anything. Most would call this brutal honesty. Others would call her a little C-U-next-Tuesday, if you know what I mean. But she still had good intentions. Her mother was never in the picture. It was surprising, because her father was 23 when she was born while her mom wasn't even out of high school. A teen mom. She never had met her mother, known only as Michelle. Her father, Rodrigo, raised her well and taught her the ways of being responsible. She learned well from him.

After beginning high school, Lucette wanted to be more free. She began to party with her friends and hook up with guys, much to Rodrigo's disapproval. He tried to ground her multiple times, to no avail. Lucette wanted to be Lucette. There was no stopping stopping her. At 15 years old, she met Julio. They dated on and off for a few months before officially calling it off. Until Lucette found out she was pregnant. Julio immediately jumped the gun and proposed, to avoid being strangled by his strict, old-fashioned parents that forbade pre-marital sex. While they never married, Lucette knew she could wait for him.

They broke off their engagement days before Ezio Vincente Fuentes-Avalos was born. Rodrigo demanded he be put up for adoption, yet Lucette held on to him for dear life. She kept her son. Around the same time, her self-worth plummeted. She hit postpartum depression that never really let up. She hates herself for what she let happen. She doesn't see herself the same anymore. None of her friends stuck around after. Now, she is almost totally alone.
