Appearance:

Daisy is a skinny, tall girl with big, blue eyes. She has long brown hair which she puts up in a ponytail. She has fair skin which burns easily in the sunlight so she doesn't bother tanning.
Daisy doesn't like to dress girly. She is usually wearing a baggy black top, brown trousers, brown boots and a old jacket. She can't afford much clothing due to living in the seam. She likes her clothes but wishes that she could get clothes that fit her properly.
She isn't the prettiest girl around because of the stress she has to go through and because of that, hardly anyone talks to her. She doesn't mind though. She has 2 good friends and they like her the way she is. She doesn't have natural beauty and even if she could cover her spots up, she wouldn't. She thinks that it would be a waste of money.

Personality:

Daisy tries to be nice to everyone she meets. That's how she got her two friends. However, if someone hurts her or her friends and family emotionally, she will get mad. She tries to stay calm, but most times it doesn't work.
One flaw that she has is the fact that she is really shy. If she was in the Hunger Games, she would probably hide away from everyone and avoid all contact. She never chats to anyone other than people she knows personally like her dad and sister. At school, when she isn't with her friends she just sits silently doing her work. When she has to lead aloud, she mainly mumbles and speaks too fast.
Autumn is her favorite season because she can go and collect apples from the trees inside District 12 without going outside the fence. It is difficult to get food and sometimes she even trades a few apples for beef stew. When its not autumn and Daisy can't get apples, her family rely on her dad's job of being a coal miner.
Daisy really loves her family. Every weekend, her mom, her dad, her sister and herself sit in the living area and discuss what happened during the week, if anything. Even though her mom doesn't speak much.
Daisy and her sister are eligible for the Hunger Games. Daisy always takes the tesserae and makes sure that her sister doesn't as she is 3 years younger. Daisy never wants to enter, as she is sure that most people would want her dead, but she would enter for her sister. She would never want to live without her sister.

History:

Daisy's life hasn't been the best. When she was 3, she had a little sister. She was happy to have someone to play with when her dad was out coal mining. Her mom was there to feed her and change her but she did not love her like her dad.
When she was 8, she became closer with her dad than ever. She loved her dad and missed him when he was out coal mining and when she was at school. She did try to avoid her mom though. Her mom started loving her 5 year old daughter instead of Daisy. Even though she was the first daughter, she felt second to her mom. Daisy wished that her dad didn't have to go coal mining. Luckily, she also had two great friends to spend time with. They were the same age and also had their dad work in coal mining. However, they had loving moms and sometimes Daisy even consider their moms her mom. They treat her better and she sees them more.
On her 12th birthday, Daisy was eligible to sign up for tesserae but the price was that she would have to sign up more times for the Hunger Games. Her dad didn't want her to do it but she decided to sign up anyways and got four tesserae, one for each family member. Luckily for her, she never got chosen. She was relieved, along with her dad and sister. Her mom though, just thought that they had another mouth to feed for another year.
This happened for two more years, until her sister became 12. She made sure that she didn't sign up, even though her mom told her to. The mom started neglecting both of her children. Daisy really wanted to sign up for three tesserae instead of four, but her dad wouldn't let her.
It is Daisy's fifth year now and she is entered 25 times whilst her sister is entered twice. She is really worried that she is going to be chosen.
