Simple (Open)

The open forest was really quite beautiful if you could get past the danger out here. It was calming and peaceful to see the sun come through the trees along the rivers. Fang had been out in the wilderness for weeks and hadn't seen a single soul once since the start.
He smelt a new district coe up before he saw it. Fang couldn't quite mark the scent. It was then he heard a twig snap behind him.

Sagittaria Jade

I start as the twig snaps beneath my foot. Perhaps you will notice and hurt me, but I will have brought it upon myself. Curiosity has killed the cat more than a few times, but... there's something about you. Something... different. I give my head an abrupt shake. I don't think like that anymore. Never will. While my thoughts spin, I don't notice you staring at me.
"What?"
The coldness of my speech causes you to back away, reminding me of my old persian, Persephone, who yelped whenever my little brother came near. To think, I was scared of you! But, truth be told, I feel bad now. I can tell you're from a low District. Your dirt-stained shirt, your hollow face. You haven't eaten in days, maybe a week. Most poor people are startled when they see residents from upper Districts, it's pretty different, I guess, seeing someone who is clean, and has enough food.
"No, no need to back up, it's just, I've never seen someone from... your area before."
And it scares me. We see the dirty Districts during the Hunger Games each year, but they never seem real. Now, I have a genuine, starving boy here in front of me.
"What's your name?"

"I'm Fang, don't ask me for my last name I've forgotten it." There was a coldness in the girl's eyes and voice, but they changed when I backed away from her. I guess it's like that everywhere. No one enjoys seeing pain.
"If you don't mind me asking who are you, and where are we?" The girl intrigued him, but not because she was from an upper district. He usually could read people like an open book, but not this girl.

"If you don't mind me asking, who are you, and where are we?"I've been wandering through this forest for over 2 days, trying to clear my mind from what I've heard. I'm confused, and have seen so many things in the wilderness that have made my skin crawl.
"Well, I'm Fang." If that doesn't state the obvious!
"And...?"
"And this? This is one of the most dangerous, desolate places in all..." And you trail off. Just like that. You are strange! Your eyes glazed over, your lips tense and thin.
"What are you doing?"
I would have called you crazy, stupid, deranged, or just plain cuckoo.
I would have, that is, if the beast hadn't clawed at my shoulder.

The beast attacked her before Fang could react, but it didn't stop him for long. His heart rate sped up and time seemed to slow down. His knife was in his hand before he thought about getting it and he had already jumped on the beast and was plunging the knife into the body before that fact had registered on him. It was dead within seconds of it's apperance.
"Are you ok?" Fang asked the girl, but when he looked at her all he could see in her eyes were terror. Crap, he thought to himself, another person scared of me.

Cara
I throw my spear at the rabbit in front of me and the rabbit falls dead on the ground I go over to the rabbite and pull out the spear from it I pick up the rabbit by the ear and put it in my game bag. I had found two squirrels a rabbite and a ton of herbs. I see the sun seating and smile normally this was when I would have to head back to district 11 but tomorrow was a day off from work so I would spend the night in the woods and head back the next day. I look at my game bag and decide I had pleanty for one day I start a fire and cook the two squirrels I'd cook the rabbit tomorrow. After the rabbits are done cooking I decide to go a little farther into the woods to make camp. I keep waking until I see two figures up ahead and a dead animal laying at there feet,I recognize the animal immediately one time when I had been in a tree hunting birds a grope of them had appeared and attacked a dear they were extremely dangerous and there were probably more. I walk closer to the two figures afraid I'll interrupt something. "Um there are probily more of these animals around so it might be a good idea to get away from this area" I say

You kill the thing with a knife, and I stumble on to my back, the ground hard and bits of God-knows-what digging into my palms.
"Are you ok?" By the look in your eyes, you think I'm terrified of what you've done. As if! It happens every day in the Training Centre. Maybe not with a wild beast, but certainly with deadly sharp, honest-to-goodness knives, spears, swords, and tridents. You wouldn't know this, living where you do, but I guess I look traumatized.
"Yea, I'm fine."
"Good, 'cause you know, I'm not, it's just, I'm not..."
"A savage, killing machine?" I say, deciding to pull the words out of your mouth.
"Guess you could say that."
I smile. You're rough around the edges; I like that. Not some soft, rich kid who tries to cater to my every whim. You just do things for the sake of doing them. Not for me. Not for anybody.

Snap! Back to reality. And boy, it's not pretty. I stand up, and gingerly, slowly, turn to look at my attacked shoulder. It's gruesome, all right. Blood crawling down my arm, a gash as long as my foot. You step closer to me, and bend down.
"That's gonna take a few stitches."
Darn it! Stop making me smile, I want to blurt out. Then, a girl, who I didn't notice before, steps out of the sinister foliage and approaches us.
"Um, there are probably more of these animals around, so it might be a good idea to get away from this area..."
She gestures toward the dead thing, which is flopped out on the ground to my side.
"Good idea. You lead."
And she does. As we walk, we find out a little more about each other. You are from District 7, but have run away. The girl, who's name is Cara, is from District 11, an agricultural District. And me, as I told you and Cara:
"I'm Sagittaria Jade, from District 1."
"District 1? What's your job?"
By job, I assume she means our District Product.
"Oh, just... stuff for the Capitol."
"Stuff?"
"Furniture. Chairs, beds, sofas... Stuff only rich and snobby people have."Snobby people like my parents.

(OOC: When Fang talks the words are in gray, when Cara talks they're in blue, and when Sagittaria talks they're in a darker green. When Sagittaria's thinking, they're light green. You probably realized that, but just in case!)

(OOC: One thing what does OOC mean. Another Twirl Girl it gets funner with more people so welcome.)
Finally someone who isn't scared off when he gets into a fight. Fang couldn't help that it felt right to him to be fighting. Of course now that he thought about it Sagittaria came from district 1, she probably sees this kind of stuff all the time. He tore one of his clean extra shirts from his pack into bandages and handed it to her. "That at least will help the bleeding."
As they were walking away from the beast, one question kept popping into his mind. Why were those two out here in the middle of the woods. He couldn't stay silent any longer so, "Not to pry or anything, but why are you two out in the woods?" he asked.

Fang ran away from district 7 and Sagittaria from 1. I had always wanted to run away but the timeing had never been right and there was my family to think about, but my sister was a good as hunter as me. "Not to pry or anything, but why are you two out in the woods?" says Fang. "I hunt a lot and I wanted to see what it was like to spen a night in the woods." I say. "I'v always wanted to run away" I add.

"Why would you want to run away?" Fang asked. "You have a roof over your head and a few meals a day even if you don't get much. Trust me when I say that it's not easy and it's not all it's cracked up to be." Fang truthfully wouldn't want to change anything, but if you have a home you don't run away. Not unless you're forced to.

"I know that" I say "But there have to be people out there fighting the capitol and if there are out there it would make seance that they would be hiding in the woods. And I want to fight the capitol not just sit around wating to die from hunger or some diseas."
