~Christopher Peace
I grab a flame and some herb grass before leaving the herb shop with my ukulele. I made sure to lock up the shop, considering i was the only one 'running' it today.
There wasn't that much to do today. I had no where to sleep last night, since Dom had the over night shift at the shop i couldn't sleep there. I just walked around. That sounded pretty pathetic but in reality thats all i did.
"Theres got to be something to do. I could do another concert." I mumble as i light the grass and take a drag.
Technically this was an herb and the peace keepers couldn't hurt me for it. With that thought i quickly slide the flame back into my pocket and trudge along the road.
Lifting my uke into the playing position i begin to strum and move my fingers over the rightful chords to play a humming sort of sound that was only loud enough for the nearby houses to hear. Getting bored of just strumming i began to sing softly. I didn't want to draw to much attention to myself this early in the morning.
"It started with your hips,So i moved up to your lips, To take a chance, Ask for a dance, Cause your the cutest thing on this side of the world, We call our homes, Yet i feel so all alone, Half of the time, We gotta live with what we got, And I got nothing, So I pray you take my hand, So we can conjure up something rad."
I usually write my own songs and this was one of them. I hadn't finished all the lyrics yet, but it was what i had so far. I loved sining when i had something, like grass, in my mouth. It made me feel more at ease you could say.
