When you get down into the grit of it, Sponsors are the difference between life and death in these Games. They provide much needed items that may well be life to a Tribute. They also provide moral support for the Tributes. Just to know that someone thinks you stand a fighting chance and is willing to throw their lot in with yours means a lot to a Tribute. Iris is a smart, capable, experienced girl. She’s worked with animals all her life, and is good at thinking on her feet, fast in sprints, and very strong. She is also determined. Back home, Iris has a mother, two sisters, and a pet collie waiting for her, willing her on. She loves her family very much and is going to fight for them.

Ruby is skillful, cunning, extremely fast, flexible, agile, and surprisingly strong. She used to spend her days out at the stream at the edge of her District with her friend Noelle, and doing suchso, she has learned to be very good at climbing, hiding, and stealth. Ruby has two parents, as well as her best friend Noelle back in Disrtict 7. Noelle is waiting for her, watching every moment possible, and willing her to fight on.
