Sam is a medium height girl. Her height stands at 5'5, the standard height for teenagers. Her build is bulky but more skinny near the bottom. Being from district 7 her arms are bulky and strong and so is her torso. When you reach the lower body you will no longer see the strength in her. Her face is oval shaped, her cheekbones are high but not sharp. Her complexion looks soft, but once you have met the inside her you will realize you have mistaken her for someone else. Like they say don't judge a book by its cover. Sam's skin is pale but has many blemishes from past work in the lumber industries. Worn upon her face is not the hint of a smile but is mostly a frown or a playful smirk. Many scars cover the surface of her body.

Her eyes are a hard and intimidating brown, not soft like her facial features. Her eyes also let off a glint that makes her seem dangerous and not at all sweet. Her hair is usually let down in loose curls that go until her a bit past her shoulders. Her hair is a chocolaty brown that has people wishing for her hair. To add she mostly wears dark clothes that are tight against her, a black shirt long or short depending on the weather, dark shorts showing off her slim legs or in the cold;a pair of tattered old denim jeans. On her feet are old leather combat styled lace up boots. On working days she will wear gloves over top of her rough and callused hands. To add her clothes is simple and used from the hands of people with out the use of them.

Personality:

Sam's personality is complex. She likes to run with the boys always trying to prove herself as someone who is strong and independent. You might say she is a tomboy. Sam is very athletic and competitive.Sam's character can at times be seen as a bully. She is often mean and not nice to be around. She likes to be the boss, the one everyone else has to answer to. In a fight she would usually be the one to win. She is quite sadistic and rude and hates to be told what to do. She never backs down from a challenge no matter how hard it is. She is quite rebellious and a sarcastic girl.

Sam does have a soft side also. One that not many people know about. If you are very vulnerable like a small child who can't defend themselves against other bullies or if you are a wounded animal that is helpless you might find yourself being rescued by this somewhat rough and tumble young lady. For instance she does not believe that the hunger games should be a method of keeping the districts together even if it is working. In the eyes of other people she is described as rough and a frightening woman, but to herself she will think of herself as superior to most.

The reason for her staying with boys is that of most of her personality and that when she tends to hang out with the girls she find herself instantly regretting the choice, for all they seem to talk about is boys. She would rather be one then date one. Of course that is not for everybody. Her personality is described as similar to people from the higher chain of districts, like 1,2&4. The career's.

History:

Samantha Harvey was born April 8th to her beloved parents, Mother Cypress Harvey and Father Tom Harvey. She is an only child and has never had any problems with rivalry in her family. She grew up normally. Although her first day at school was in contrast. She was not very liked by anyone. No one except for one boy named Neal. Neal was a boy exactly like Sam. Aggressive, only child and an attitude there was only one difference, his mother dead. Sam actually felt deprived after he explained his story to her. 

They grew up the best of friends, always there for each other. When they reached the sixth grade Neal had pulled Sam over and asked her to be his girl... You could see how that turned out;Sam rejected him as soon as he asked the question. She did it regretfully since he was her best friend. After that they grew distant, when they talked it was awkward so they kept it to a limit. 

Sam grew to be quite the beautiful girl but any boy knew not to mess with her. She had gotten many other friends. All where boys never girl. Most of the girl's hated Sam anyway.  Seventh and eight grade passed by slowly. She as beginning to think to herself about how all this capitol stuff had to be b.s. It was all stupid not too mention a horrible and criminal like thing did they do! Sam began to think maybe she should begin to shut out all these history and capitol classes. And well that's what she did shut them all out.

Now she was a high-schooler. She  was grade nine. She was beginning to enter her name in the draw at the reaping for extra tesserae for her family. these days had grown to be poverty in her home. Now in her older age she began to work in the lumber industry after school. She would  cut down trees and help haul them tithe factory's. Skilled with an axe was what she was. Her hands strong, legs wimpy. She was now the replica of her father. A hard working machine who never gave up what they stand for.

At the moment the dealings have passed and she has become absolutely revolted with the thought of the games. She now works harder for things needed and she has already begun buying more tesserae for her mother and father. What ever happens will be found out in the near future.
