Appearance:
Jc is considerably tall, and rather skinny. She's had her parents joke about her weight often. Her mother is most common to ask if she eats at all. Jc has went several days without food, she's sort of trained herself that way. Once she became of age for the Hunger Games, she feared being chosen. She resorted to letting herself do without.Personality:
Along with that, her hair is a dark dirty blonde in color. In some lights it looks like a dark brown, but in the sun you can see the streaks of blonde. If the sun is bright enough, it can look completely blonde. Though her roots will usually still look darker than the rest of her hair.
As for her facial features. Jc has slightly sunk-in eyes that are blue in color. Her skin tone is pretty pale. She has tan marks on her feet from where she ran around barefoot, but her parents frowned upon that. Even if they had only cloth to cover their feet, they preferred her wear the cloth than go without.
To start things off quickly, Jc is stubborn. Once she had her mind set on something, it's hard to change her mind. If you do happen to change her mind, consider yourself lucky. Jc is very strong-willed, and doesn't find herself depending on others for much of anything. Even finding her own scraps for food and such is considered a fun adventure for her.History:
Though she is smiley, and can be a little friendly to everyone. Jc just likes to think positive. She keeps herself content by making others lives easier. She doesn't want to be a burden. Which is another excuse for her lack of weight and proper apetite. Jc isn't too concerned with it though.
As for the other side of her, she can also come off as a bit annoying. Usually negative people take a quite hatred for her. She's the type to get on the nerves, purposely, just because she finds it amusing that they dislike her for being happy. She can get along with most people, but anyone who thinks negatively will probably find her to be overwhelmingly annoying.
It's quite simple, in her past, the family have been known to fall. When her mother's brother was entered in the Hunger Games, he was killed the first few hours of the games. Just as her grandfather's sister had been. When Jc and her brother were born, their parents had a fear for their lives.Codeword: odair
After finding out her history with the Hunger Games through her parent,s she felt the need to prepare herself. As her birthday neared quickly, she started eating less and less. It was a mental preparation, and physical. If she could go longer without food, then she could spare the food she needed through time. Not only that, but when she turned 14 she started to play with swords and daggers. Her father trained her with them, since he himself had lucked out of having to go to the hunger games. He did know a lot with swords and daggers.
When she turned 16 her mother and father felt it was nearing a point where she was too leave. They had already lost their son. When the time came, and she wasn't chosen, it was relief. Now, 18 years old, it's her last year to fret over things. She's sort of wishing to be chosen, but at the same time she's still afraid of being chosen.
