Dante Gould: Out With a Bang

IC: Dante Gould sat at his desk, running his hands through his hair. Tommorrow was the day he officially had to go to the Capitol, something he had been constantly putting off and even escaping from. But that was all over now, now he had no choice.

But, he thought, why was he just sitting here? This was possibly his last day as an alive and free man. He wasn't going to waste it.

No, in fact, this day would be quite spectacular.

He was going to tie up every loose end, say goodbye to everyone he loved, and maybe cauuse a little mayhem if there was time.

He walked out into the hallway of The Untouchables HQ and looked around. He would miss this place. Walking over to Alex's door, he knocked on it.

The oldest Gould brother opened the door, looking sad. "Hey man. What's up?"

"Yeah, yeah, you're sad. But we might as well move on. And today is going to be amazing."

"What are we going to do?"

"Everything. Let's go get Donovan and everybody else."

The two walked down the hall, looking for friends to take on what promised to be quite the day.

So, Dante, my brother... Leaving.. I sit in my office besides alex's and just think. I massage my temples and the bridge of my nose, none of it helping at all. Dante, my friend, family, may very well leave tomorrow and never come back. I shudder at the thought, depression kicking in i stare out of the office window. I hear feet outside my door and jump out of my chair... I exit it to find Dante and Alex walking down the hall, I close my door and catch up with them, squeezing in between dante and alex and wrapping an arm around each... "Hey, guys," i tell them, happily, lying.

[Haymitch]

Jason was probably the only one not worried about Dante. I mean, sure, he's defenintly was going to say good-bye and all that, but the chance of Dante being killed? Zero, nada, zilch.

So Jason was in his very large office, practicing the Black Arts on various bricks and punching bags. He smiled. It wasn't so long ago that the whole building would go on alert for a murder if he yelled, "Hee-YAH!" when he broke a board. Now nobody blinked.

"Hee-YAH!" Jason yelled as he used a suto strike to break a house brick. The brick stayed in place. Jason sighed and tried again. "HEE-YAH!" he yelled, and he slammed the brick with all of his might.

CRACK. The brick crumbled to the floor. Jason smiled triumphantly. Outside, he heard a few shouts of "Hey, guys!". To Dante, obviously. He might as well go say good-bye too, even though he would come back.

Jason opened the door to his dojo (AKA his office) and waved. "Hey, Dante! Rob any good banks lately?"

Mittens (awkwardly) tackled Dante, beaming happily.

"Hey, Sugar! What we gon' do today?" She asked with a grin. Racetrack came up from behind her, standing by quietly. "Banks!? We ALWAYS rob banks. Nothing special about that." Mittens thought about it. "We should rob a baby store." She said.

"A store that sells babies?" Racetrack asked quietly. Mittens turned and looked moved.

"Mary-Alice, you made a joke!" She said. "No. A store that sells baby stuff. Like cribs and clothes and toys, and-"

"How would we sneak a crib out?" Racetrack asked.

"I dunno. I'm sure we could think of something." Mittens said seriously.
