[/blockquote]Personality:
Dillon is extremely compassionate. If you need someone to talk to, just to vent, Dillon is the person to go to. He's very caring and charismatic, being able to bring out the best in most people, and genuinely cares about the world around him, and aways likes to know how things work and why. He loves working with his hands, and building things. Sometimes, Dillon debates leave District 4 for District 7, being that he's absolutely terrible at fishing.History:
Despite the fact he appears to be perfectly content on the outside, Dillon is in fact rather depressed. Ever since his cousin, Alba, was killed in the 55th Hunger Games, he's been thinking a lot about death, and what it means. In fact, he's become rather paranoid about the entire concept. Dillon hates going to sleep at night, being that he constantly relives his cousin's death over and over again in his dreams. He's realized that in a twisted sort of way, that by making other people smile, being able to make them content in their own lives, he's making himself happy, as sort of a stimulation for the happiness he's no longer to generate in his own life.
Dillon has always lived in the shadow of his older sister, who, according to his parents, is the perfect child. She has the perfect husband, the perfect job, the perfect house, can catch the perfect fish and has the absolute perfect personality. He doesn't bother trying to live up to her anymore because he knows it'll just be a lost cause. This has also contributed to Dillon's depressive state, him knowing that he's a failure in his parents' eyes.
Dillon's parents, Fiona and Malcolm, were high school sweethearts. After dating for ten years, they married when Fiona became pregnant with Dillon's older sister, Skye. Four years later, they had Dillon. Growing, up, Dillon was completely unaware that he had any other family until he turned twelve and attended his first Reaping. There, he accidentally ran into a fourteen-year-old Alba Hache. After talking with her for several minutes, he came to realize she was in fact his cousin.Codeword: <img src=
When Alba's father married her mother, the rest of the Hache family, including his sister, Fiona, didn't approve of his bride, and disowned him. This feud continued for nine years, up until Alba's mother died giving birth to her. The entire situation became rather awkward, and was too far gone for apologizes. So even though the subject of their disagreement was gone, they still refused to speak with one another.
Dillon never told his parents that he and Alba were particularly close. They were already disappointed in him, being that he was a terrible fisherman, preferring to build things, so he decided to keep their friendship a secret. When his sister got married when she was eighteen, Dillon hated her husband. Alba had been the only one who understood what he was going though, and sympathized with him. Then, when Alba was reaped and then killed in the Hunger Games, Dillon was absolutely heartbroken, though somehow, he was able to appear unfazed. At least, when he was around other people. He fell into a sort of depression, where he has stayed, now a year later.
