Appearance:

Ginvera has bright red hair and sparkly blue eyes, which she inherited from her mother. She's slightly tanned and she's strong and lean. She's very slim and skinny and isn't very 'buff'. She's just above average height for her age. Her teeth are slightly crooked as she got into a small fight when she was ten and almost broke her jaw.
Her eyebrows are very thick and large and are one of the main features of her face. Her nose is slightly upturned. She has a few permanent bruises up her legs. Her fingers are very long and skinny and could be described as being like spiders. Her legs are very long but not at all graceful, if anything they make her even more clumsy.

Personality:

She is very daring and likes to seem braver than she actually is. But in truth she is scared quite easily. She's afraid of heights but would never let it on in fear of being bullied for it. She has a habit of getting into trouble and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She bites her lip an awful lot when she's analyzing something.
She is quite nice when people get on her good side. She will shower you in gifts and luxury as much as she can. She loves to please people. She can hurt herself while doing it though but won't complain. She has learnt to hold her tongue over the years.
Ginvera can be very clever when she wants to, and very sly. She loves tricking people though sometimes gets too caught up in her planning and never gets around to doing anything. She can be quite sarcastic when she wants to be. She is also quite rude to some people. Ginvera will make a fool out of you the best she can if you annoy her.
She can overestimate herself sometimes and will go too far thinking she's fine when she's not, and she also is used to getting her way, because her parents never have the energy to argue with her. She is a tiny bit spoiled and isn't happy if she's not in the lead. She has quite a temper but also a very good conscience and feels guilty a lot, making her even madder.

History:

Ginvera doesn't have any siblings, but her mother and father are both alive. Her father is a stone-mason and her mother works doing laundry for the part of District 2 they live in. By no means is she pampered, but she is not underfed either. She is about average. Her grandmother also lives with them, but she is very sick and stays in bed most of the time.
Ginvera doesn't like her very much because of it. Little does she know that her grandmother wasn't looked after well as a child and had to work very hard.
Ginvera's grandfather died when she was seven, but it didn't impact her much. She didn't know him very well at all.
She doesn't see much of her father and is closer to her mother, who taught her how to sew when she was nine. Ginvera isn't very good at it but cherishes it because it was one of the few times her mother approved. Ginvera is not at all interested in being a housewife and would rather be in the Hunger Games. Her mother raised her with the mindset of a victor, and set up a little training area in their backyard.
