Well to begin with I am a pretty average size. Not too tall not too short. My weight is a little over weight for district 8 ,but more like average weight for district 1. I have no muscle on my arms due to not being old enough to even work full time at the textiles yet. My legs are a bit long for my size, but I like it. It allows me to run faster when playing. My hair is blonde not dirty blonde, not white but blonde. It is a beautiful part of my body being very soft ,and silky. My hair goes down past my shoulders but above my elbows if my arms were lying flat on my body.

I have a pretty decent smile that glows when I laugh. I have 2 dimples one on each side of my cheek. When I am happy these dimples glow. My cheeks oh my cheeks the main reason why I got my name Ruby. See Ruby may sound like a decent name but in district 8 it is not. I mean you see it all the time in the lower districts, but not 8 almost never 8 its a fake name. Whoops a little off topic anyways. When I was a baby I always had rosy red cheeks. That is why I am called ruby.

Till this day my cheeks are usually rosy red especially when its cold out, or when I am embarrass. Put that with white pale pasty skin ,and you have odd face pink Ruby as your name. I suppose it could be a worse nick name but what ever. Now my eyes are brown. It is the darkest part of my body. I have blonde hair light white skin ,and some how I have brown eyes. I guess it was a mutation a mess up I would think to myself, but that fact is I love my Brown eyes how they glimmer with hope, how they match my pretty blonde eyebrows. Opposites attract I suppose....

Personality:

Hope is my word I was always told by my parents. Hope it sounds like a good word, I would always think back to that word hope. I would not question them on why the word hope comes to mind when they think of me. I suppose I just don't like to question people. I have some predictions some I have found through other people some I have found myself. As a kid living in Panem most people don't think things can get any better than the games. I do I believe that it can get better. I have only mentioned this a few times to my family so that's where I get confused that that's how they found that my word is hope that describes me because I believe something? It makes no sense to me. Then again I am easily confused.

Another guess is how happy go lucky I am it makes almost every one wonder if everyone in this world is good. I suppose that can go with hope. Some say I trust people too easily that it is a gift ,and a bad thing. A gift because sometimes people needed to be trusted first in order to trust you, but a bad thing because I can get hurt easily. I think that someone said that that is why hope is my word ,but I never got why? I mean if I am so trustworthy en yet people let me down how is that a good thing? How is it showing that there is hope in human kind if they are misusing my trust? I of course never ask these questions.

Hope is a dream a dream,like my famous imaginative games are not true. I believe is a fact, something that comes true. I don't have hope that this world can be a better place, I believe it can. Hope is a step to believing ,but never the same thing. You ,and I are used in the same sentence but never the same thing.

I grew up really with not a care in the world. You said do this I will nod , make a joke about it then do it. I hardly ever question ,but I always believe. my parents are great people. They work extra hours in the textiles just so I can have a toy to call mine. They work so I have food in my stomach ,and so I never go hungry. Now never going hungry does not mean I eat more than I need just I eat enough to keep my tummy satisfied.

My parents have raised me well. They taught be how to be polite. Use my manners ,and everything. They have taught me not to fear death , but fear the games. Its a no brainer fear the games ,but you do see people from the districts love the games. My parents say that is their biggest down fall in the games. True they win a lot ,but when they lose it is because they take the games for granted. Just that as games not a survival game but games.

My parents are around not often but they do still teach me what I should be taught. Like I said don't fear death fear the games. My neighbor meiko she is my friend. I don't talk to her much because she does not want to, but one day I know we can be best friends. I will then pretend I am a captain of a ship and I know she will pretend she Is the cat. she likes to act like a cat. I am ok with it because that is what life is about pretending! You pretend all the time to fit in, to be happy, and to have a great life so why can't mieko just pretend to be a cat. I find it cool. So now I have to go with my mom to work today. I am up to going 1 time every other week. I love it! It allows me to see my mommy more! Well my mommy is yanking me now to come along Bye!
