Posting is mandatory for this particular Games Day. Any characters that do not post will be killed, as per usual.
Please be certain that you read the information about the Feast located on this thread.
The clouds part in the sky as the boastful melody of the Anthem blares throughout the Arena. Tonight, the haughty tune sounds more arrogant and taunting than usual, as if the Capitol means to personally remind you that they are in control, that they stuck you here.
As the song finishes, the faces of the dead from the previous day should appear in the sky. But none do.
No more tributes have died. The Capitol will be growing restless—days with little bloodshed have always been followed by some of the most intense ones. As you wonder what the Gamemakers could possibly come up with to ‘enhance’ the Games, the Anthem ends.
However, though you expect the world to quite and the sky to go black, the Arena fills with the voice of Claudius Templesmith, the legendary announcer.
“Good evening, Tributes!” His voice echoes through the Arena. You half-suspect it to trigger another avalanche. “Consider this your invitation to a Feast!
Of course, you think. A feast. That’s how the Capitol likes to spice things up as the smaller number of Tributes creates fewer fights and less entertainment.
“This Feast will be held at the Cornucopia, midday tomorrow! I can guarantee that it will be more than worth your while to make an appearance! May the odds be ever in your favor!”
The Capitol Seal flashes once and the sky fades to black, leaving you to contemplate attending.
Congratulations on surviving Day 5, Tributes! Here is your weather forecast for tomorrow, by area. Make sure you keep this in mind as you RP.

(The selected tributes below must fight by the end of the Games day. Any tributes allied in the fight may participate, if desired. It is required that each fight results in at least one death, though it is acceptable if more tributes die. If your fight consists of multiple people on each side, please specify who you are attacking immediately before you insert the combat block. As always, please notify staff to judge the winner of the fights.)

The Feast
All tributes wishing to participate in the Feast will have the chance to compete for one of the five below items. It is not acceptable to simply take the item and run—it is required that you stay to attack at least two times before taking your prize and two times before leaving with it--for a total of four times. Two people must post after one attack made by you before you may post again. All tributes participating should make a (small) post at the beginning of the Thread to signify that they are interested in participating.
Additionally, if anyone attacks at you the round before you make your (required) “exit post” your chance at leaving is unsuccessful and you must either drop the item and run or engage the person/people attacking. The Feast in its entirety will take place on one designated thread, 100 yards south of the Cornucopia.
Feast Items:
>Torso Armor
>Legs Armor
>Helmet

Muttation Directory
You do not necessarily have to have the Mutts mandated to interact with you for you to encounter them, as with fighting. Muttations fighting with/interacting with Tributes will be RPed by an impartial staff member. Please notify a staff member if you need them to post.
>Alarm Owls: (these are found in wooded areas, namely the Forest and the Clearing.) A blend of different owl species that, once it sees someone, it will give a mournful, haunting hoot. Every five seconds. It follows the person around and hoots, while more alarm owls flock to the area, and all begin to hoot. They don't actually attack... but they can lead other predators to the area. These were initially developed to find rebel spies, soldiers, and the like and trail them until the owls made enough racket for them to be found.
>Mountain Hounds: (these are found in mountainous areas, namely the Mountain and the Cliff.) A hybrid of cougar and bloodhound ‘ancestors’ that was originally used to track and kill rebels over mountainous areas (remember that the Capitol is just over the Rockies from the districts). These are enhanced with a powerful sense of smell and are quite ferocious. Hunting solo or in pairs, Mountain Hounds will track prey for hours upon hours after catching scent.
>Pitfall Lizard:(these are found in the Crater Wasteland, though may wander towards the Cornucopia if the weather is warm enough.) Parts lizard, snake, and some trapdoor spider, this grotesque beast was originally designed to take out supply roads and other paths frequented by rebels. They were designed to dig networks of tunnels and caves under the specified area so it would collapse when enough weight was placed on it and perhaps kill the rebels involved with its lethal venom. However, these Lizards were deemed inefficient, given that their "traps" so to speak--nearly 25 feet deep, wide holes about two feet from the surface of the ground--did not always collapse, were not always dug in the right place, and were not always inhabited by a Pitfall Lizard to finish off any unfortunate being trapped. Like many of the muttations, the project was abandoned--however, few of the Lizards were actually found by the retrieval squads. These are completely inedible--even their bright orange eggs are poisonous. If you manage to get bitten, you have about three hours to live.
Notes:
>You are still allowed to fight even if your alliance/tribute is not listed above.
>Remember that your tribute can only be in one thread at a time during the Games, and any finished threads should say that they are finished in the title.
>Day 6 will end on the 20th of March.
>Note that the Mountain, Fissure, Cliff, and Clearing are now closed, and no more RPing in these areas is allowed.
