Gwen & Gala Thomas
Trapeze Twins
Age Thirteen
District Two
Everything felt too familiar in an unpleasant sort of way. Walking down the dirt road to the same gym as before, unsure of the trainer waiting for them at the end. For a while the twins were beginning to believe that it was hopeless, they'd never be paired with another trainer again. Gwen was of course fine with that outcome, but all Gala could think about was getting back to training. She was always the type to cause trouble and enjoy it, the Career gym was just the place to do that...though that might of been why they lost their last trainer. It was still more acceptable then at their home with loads of older sisters watching their every move. So being paired with another trainer was a necessity.
The news about a girl trainer did not please Gala to say the least, but at the same time was the only reason why Gwen gave in to going. Never before have the girls had such opposite feelings, always taking each other's side for any big problems. Even when disagreeing the fight never lasts long. But their mind sets were now very different from one another when it came to training and who the trainer was.
"Just like old times." Gala sighs as the gym comes into view and slowly grows bigger and bigger with each step they take. Already gym clothes covered them so they automatically went straight to the gym where they'd wait to meet their new trainer. Just as last time Gala's eyes came upon the weapons, Gwen's on the tall rope to climb, but neither of them moved. It's as if they had grown too old for childish curiosity in a matter of a week or two.
"Hope she's not stupid." Gala mumbles as she props herself up to sit on a stack of mats.
"Like Matthew?" Gwen comments and immediately her twin shots her a nasty look.
"He's not stupid, you are!" Still the wound was healing on Gala's back, and with every disagreement with her sister it burned like it had feelings. "It's your fault for hitting me with a knife!" Gala brings up and sure enough Gwen's face goes down with guilt and anger.
"Well you told me to patch you up!" Gwen only adds fuel to the fire. "If we didn't do that he wouldn't of left!" Both of their arms crossed over their chest at the same time. It's a bit nerve wracking to witness an actual fight from the two who get along better then peanut-butter and jelly. Even their sisters were concerned over the constant tension from them. Both of the girls' heads snapped to the door at the sound of intruder, very anxious to who their trainer was.
