Triple Threat [Jared vs. Windy vs. Blue]

OOC- Okay, guys, this is a three person fight and everyone's on a seperate side, so remember to specify who you're attacking otherwise it's gonna get really confusing. Everyone gets one introduction post before the fight starts.

I am feeling better than I have in days.

Of course, I am still injured in places. Cuts, scrapes, and an astonishing number of bruises. But suddenly I am looking at thee Games in a new light. I survived a feast. Not only did I survive it, but I escaped it with a vital item. Medicine. I haven't used it yet; I plan on saving it for when it's really needed. But I have it, it's there in my pack, and that's what matters.

The tides have turned for me; yesterday I was bruised and broken from avalanches and rockslides caused by the earthquake, and now I am on the move, ready for action. I am ready to fight.

The forest is eerily silent, although that is most likely because of the devastation it faced after the quake. As I move further inward more and more felled trees litter the ground, so I decide to go no further. I want as much cover as I can get, and if all the trees are down I will be completely out in the open.

There hasn't been much death lately, so I am sure something will happen today. The Gamemakers would never want their viewers to grow bored with the Games, and they must be disappointed that no one died at the feast yesterday. So they will have to arrange something today. Perhaps they will push us together, make us fight again. Because if there's one thing the Hunger Games is all about, it's tribute on tribute violence.

It's more entertaining that way.

Windy Mathers

Windy stumbled along through the trees, her hand gripping her knife tightly. She didn't exactly know how she wound up in the woods. She remembered running from the Feast and fixing her wounds- the next thing she remembers is waking up with pine needles in her hair.
The tribute was still jittery from the fight. Her knife twitched at everything that moved, which ultimately led her to some food.
So Windy continued through the forest, her eyes wide to catch every ray of light and every inch of skin was extra sensitive.
This was the arena effect- your thoughts cut down to pure animal instinct.
Just then Windy caught a glimpse of a figure through a bush. Crouching down and slowly walking forward she glanced at the figure's face. Icepick. The boy she had fought at the Feast.
Windy took a moment to figure out why she didn't know the real names of anyone she had fought.
After her brief ponder, Windy Mathers tightened her grip of her weapon, holding it in front of her while peeking through the leaves of the forest.
Quiet, be silent. Silence will keep you safe. She thought.

Blue moved swiftly, eyes darting around. She felt better then she did yesterday. She had not attended the feast in favor of resting, and in hopes Ailia was killed. She had needed rest, Jeremy would understand if Blue wouldn't have been able to protect the girl. But no. She had to stay alive. And now, Blue was looking for her.

please have starved to death, please starve to death. Blue chanted in her mind.

Blue stepped on a twig, which made her jump, eyes wide.

She instantly grabbed her hunting knife.

Suddenly a twig cracked under foot and startled Windy so badly that she ended up jumping out in front of the tribute. Her instincts kicked in again and she settled her body into the pose that the sailors back home fell into when preparing to knock the head off of a fellow crew mate for sport.
"Remember me, Icepick?" Windy said trying to look like she had meant to comfort him directly. She was going to kill however had snapped that twig!
Windy say no way out and lunged forward starting a fight she might not live through.

I spin around as I hear the twig snap, and find myself face to face with Windy Mathers, the tribute I had fought with just yesterday at the Cornucopia. Admittedly I had injured her quite badly, far worse than she had injured me, and I could see the lasting effects of my damage. Although I am still bashed from the earthquake, so I guess it is a pretty well matched fight.

She opens up a small cut on my left arm and it stings, but not too badly. That's when I hear the second twig snap, and I turn around to see the one I've been looking for since I swore to Jestina I'd kill. Blue.

It's tempting, the choice of who to attack first. I'd love to finish them both off at once, but obviously it'll be a more powerful attack if I hit one and then the other seperately. So, since Windy was the one to get me first, I go after her.

"Yeah, I remember you," I say, just before sending my icepick thrashing down her way.

Blue pursed her lips. The girl was harmed way worse then the boy. And the girl would be more grateful if Blue helped her. It was clear who she needed to help.

Blue moved in quickly, knife raised.

"You're the one who killed Jestina." Blue hissed, narrowing her eyes.

Windy Mathers

She could see it in their eyes. They knew each other, despised on another. The boy wasn't as outspoken as the girl but the look he shot her said it all.
In her mind she tried to pick who to attack. However she wasn't doing hand to hand combat with the boy, she had learned her lesson.
Windy took a step back from the pair and, not wanting to loose a knife, grabbed one of the dwindling number of rocks that were still in her net. Feeling as if this was the best move she had so far Windy chunked a rock at the pair. More so at the boy but in their general direction anyway.

My eyes are cold as I look at Blue, and I feel the sharp blow as she bruises my rib. Windy attacks me again, too, but all I do is stumble backwards a bit. "Yeah, actually, I did," I say to Blue, my voice dripping with disdain. "Funny though," I add as I position myself to attack her. "She actually blamed it on you. Said it was your fault she was injured so bad in the first place, and even asked me to kill you for her." I slash my dagger, aiming for a fatal blow.

And I swore I would."

She hissed as she felt a sting where the cut was.

"I don't think that it's you who's gonna kill me." Blue glance at Windy. Two against one. "And it was her fault for fighting me in the first place, not that I'm surprised she blamed someone else for her failure. I could tell he was a snake in the grass. Took my a few minutes, but it came to me. Why do you think I wasn't there when you found her?"

Blue lunged again.

Windy Mathers

Windy looked at the tributes in front of her. Her mind clicked off of instinct and thought about what they had said. Both had sworn to a dying ally to kill the other, interesting situation.
This wasn't Windy's fight, yet she was still tied to it. She couldn't run, the fallen trees made it near impossible to slip away unnoticed.
Windy made a decision, she didn't know the girl but the boy had done her personal harm. Using these factors, Windy picked up a small stone by the root of one of the still standing trees.
Aiming carefully, she sent the stone sailing through the air.

Blue's next attack did me minimal harm, but I felt the pain as Windy's weapon slashed into my arm, leaving a deep gash there. That was all it took for my focus to immediately turn onto her. I can see that both these girls are aiming to take me out, but what will they do when they have to focus on the other? Windy is in for it when she has to face Blue if she disposes of me first, because Blue is a lot better off than the two of us. She'll be stronger.

But as Windy attacked me last, it will only be fair to go after her again. so I take my dagger and plunge it in her direction.

Jared didn't stand a chance. Two against one, and I was more rested then him. He no doubt went to the Feast, while I spent the day by the lake resting and regaining my strength.

So far, I could tell Windy was on my side when it came down to getting rid of Jared. He seemed to notice this as well.

"You don't stand a chance, Jared." She smirked. "Two against one."

Windy Mathers

Windy went down to her knees, the pain in her head was throbbing more than anything she had known. She was biting back tears and touched the back of her head only to feel the warmth of blood. She was shaking and was on the verge of giving up when the girl spoke.
You don't stand a chance, Jared. Two against one.
She was on her side. She finally had an ally. After being abandoned my Prenten on the First Day, Windy had been alone- but not anymore.
Windy grabbed her knife and taking a breath, stood up. Her face went white but she stood firm.
"Two against one," She echoed, lunging at the boy.

I raise an eyebrow at Blue as she announces her willingness to take sides with Windy. "Another ally, Blue?" I question, with a smirk despite the fact that I was now anticipating my own death. They have a point. Two against one. "Sure this one won't call for your death like Jestina did?" It's harsh, but it's necessary to say. Perhaps it will throw her off a bit. "Be careful of the pacts you make in this arena. Because none of them can last."

I turn back to Windy. "And you," I begin. "Watch out how much trust you put into this one."

I gesture towards Blue. "It's just a guess, but something tells me you're ultimately going to end up with a knife in your back." And I lunge towards the blonde District Four tribute.

"I know to be careful." Blue taunted. "But this is a better then what you have right now. And of course, I'm pretty sure she's planing my demise right now. If she had a reluctance to kill, she wouldn't have made it this far. About fifteen of us dead. I'm sure she had a hand in that."

Blue lunged again.
